Chase Bank Cancels Covfefe Coffee. You Already Know Why.

Chase Bank has prohibited coffee company Covfefe Coffee from using WePay, its payment processing service. As you probably already guessed, the bank seems to be targeting the company because its leadership supports former President Donald Trump.

National File reported: “In an email sent to Covfefe Coffee, Chase Bank claimed that the pro-Trump coffee company, founded in 2018, was using their WePay payment processor ‘for one or more of the activities prohibited by our Terms of Service,’ and that as a result, they would be withdrawing use of the service, with all pending payments cancelled.”

A spokesman for the coffee company told National File that they had used the payment processor for two years without any interference. He indicated that the company was banned for political reasons. National File examined WePay’s terms of service and “could not find any legitimate reason for it to have been removed.”

It does not appear that Chase told the company specifically what it supposedly did to violate its terms of service. The spokesman said, “The social credit system that is talked about in China, which conservatives say one day it’s coming here, no. We already have it.”

He continued:

Instead of Republicans focusing on bringing in pro-Democracy Hong Kongers into our country for protection, they should focus on their voters, who pay their salary. How many lives need to be ruined? How many people need to be coerced and threatened with economic devastation until the Ben Shapiros and Mitch McConnells of the world actually do something? It’s like when people say, ‘Well there was some fraud in the election?’ Well, what percentage of fraud is okay? What percentage of cancel culture is okay? What’s it going to take?

If they’re trying to ruin Trump’s life, nothing is safe. No one is coming to save us. We have no representation in government, we have no representation in “muh free market.” We wanted to provide a brand for the people. We have to start our own economy, our own nation. We have to build our own systems.

National File reached out to Chase Bank to find out what specific actions the company took that supposedly violated their rules. So far, they have received no response.

Covfefe Coffee has experienced this type of cancelation before. In 2019, Amazon pulled their product from its site after one consumer complained about the taste. They also banned its advertisements because they included the American flag.

We have already seen this type of conduct from other companies. In some cases, they are acting of their own accord, trying to punish people for their political beliefs. But in some other cases, they are merely bowing to the leftist mob.

The far-left would love to use the government to shut down entities and people who do not conform to their Marxist belief system. But it appears they are trying to create a society in which they don’t need to use the state to do their bidding. When they can use major corporations and Big Tech companies to enforce their will, they don’t need to rush to leverage the state to this end.

This type of story shows that the far-left is willing to use whatever mechanism available to diminish conservative thought. Conservatives had better be prepared to fight back; the left isn’t going to stop anytime soon.
