Members of the U.S. Border Patrol had some choice words for President Joe Biden after he visited the southern border for a much-needed photo op. In fact, after having already criticized the president for his failure to address the border crisis, which has been stretched thin over recent years due to the constant influx of asylum seekers and illegal immigrants trying to gain entry into the United States.
Biden recently made a visit to Brownsville, Texas, a border town. Afterward, the Border Patrol union wrote a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, mocking Biden for ignoring the situation at the southern border and trying to blame it on former President Donald Trump.

The union’s post was apt considering that Biden’s White House has done little to stem the flow of illegals and asylum seekers across the southern border. His immigration team has reportedly been plagued by infighting and disagreements on border policy.
Meanwhile, Border Patrol agents have been frustrated by the lack of support and clear measures to lighten their load. In the days leading up to the president’s visit, a high-ranking Border Patrol official criticized him for downplaying the worsening situation at the southern border.
The Border Patrol Union completely did in Biden's propaganda, pointing out exactly who is to blame for the crisis [in a statement to Fox News].
“Unfortunately, a visit by President Biden three years into his term and after repeatedly stating there is no crisis is too little, too late. Whether stating it himself or through WH Press Secretary Karine Jean Pierre, Biden has said he’s done everything he can to secure the border. If that was the truth, and it wasn’t, there would be no point in visiting the border now. But even if he were to put the proper policies in place at this late hour, he’d be doing it only to try to save his Presidency. And self-serving actions when time is winding down should always give Americans pause. Common sense dictates that as a lame duck, he’d revert back to his open border policies if re-elected. Biden is going to the border now solely to try to save himself. Border security should never be about politics, it should always be about the safety and security of this great nation and the American people.”

Former Border Chief Rodney Scott recently bashed the Biden administration over immigration. He said during an interview:
We handed them the most secure border in the history of the United States and a roadmap to keep it that way and make it even better. Through 94 executive actions, President Biden completely destroyed border security.
As the border crisis persists, the administration is doing its best to make sure it does not become an even more pressing issue in the 2024 campaign. Indeed, Biden’s bid for reelection is likely the only reason why he visited in the first place. Unfortunately for him, the situation has become impossible to ignore.
