Really, Politico, CNN, et al – you have nothing better to do than bitch about Melania Trump’s high heels?

A few weeks back, Newsweek posted an article about Melania and Ivanka Trump’s penchant for wearing stilettos, which are “A SYMBOL OF EVERYTHING THAT IS BEAUTIFUL AND HORRIFYING ABOUT THEM.” Though today’s feminists see high heels as a symbol of the oppressive patriarchy, a British psychologist wrote that the Trump women wear high heels because “they are just buying into traditional binary views of male and female.”

On Tuesday Melania Trump wore stilettos as she boarded Air Force One to en route to Texas to survey Hurricane Harvey flooding damage with her husband, and – STOP.THE.PRESSES. Never mind that hundreds of thousands of people are displaced from flooding and losing all of their possessions, that lives are being lost – Melania is wearing heels! To a flood zone! What an idiot! (The MSM’s take, not mine.)

When Melania landed, she changed into more “sensible” footwear, but Politico was still badgering the White House press office for answers as to why Melania wore those darn stilettos in the first place.

Normal, red-blooded American women, like the ladies of RedState, love their shoes – especially their feminine, sexy heels. We know that they elongate our legs, make our derrieres look good, and send a signal that we’re women, not wannabe men.

The ladies of RedState say to Newsweek, CNN, Politico, and anyone else who’s hating: Keep your feels away from our heels!

Newsweek, et al., really should have checked with Bryce Dallas Howard before going off on Melania and Ivanka. Howard’s character wore heels throughout “Jurassic World” as she sprinted and saved her nephew and niece from a psycho mutant reptile.

Howard defended the choice.

“I’m really glad that we didn’t make the choice for me to be barefoot because that would have also been kind of dangerous.”

“And you know what? She’s in high heels because she’s a woman who has been in high heels her whole life, and she can f—ing sprint in them,” added Howard. “She can. That’s kind of how I perceived it. She doesn’t have to be in menswear and flats in order to outrun a T. rex. That’s what women can do.”

Exactly. Sprint and outrun a T. rex in high heels – that’s what women can do.
