Don't Be Fooled by Scientologist Joy Villa's Pro-Life Grammy Stunt - She's a Fraud

At last night’s Grammy Awards, Joy Villa’s outfit conveyed a pro-life message, as reported by Andrea Ruth here at RedState. I’m not buying it though.

Joy Villa made a splash last year in her Trump campaign poster dress at the Grammy’s. This year, Villa walked the red carpet once again with a controversial-in-Hollywood pro-life white gown.

Villa donned a handpainted gown with a baby-in-the-womb handpainted inside a rainbow of colors. She also carried a handbag with the words “Choose Life” handpainted on.

I don’t claim to know what Villa believes about abortion and the pro-life movement, but I strongly suspect that her decision to wear her “choose life” ensemble this year had more to do with continuing to build her fan base among the Fox News watcher demographic.

Villa is a prominent member of the Church of Scientology which casts some doubt on her pro-life street cred. Many former Scientologists (primarily those from the cult’s power structure known as the Sea Org) report that the cult encouraged or forced pregnant members to have abortions because bearing children displayed a lack of committment to the Sea Org.

Claire Headley — who was a member of the church’s elite Sea Organization for 30 years — claims the church coerced women into having abortions upon learning of a pregnancy, she alleged on Remini’s A&E docuseries “Scientology and the Aftermath.”

“If a woman got pregnant, she would instantly be scheduled to get an abortion,” Headley explained to Remini in a clip from Tuesday’s episode.

While no one in the church directly held anyone down for the procedure, she told Remini that women were met with grave consequences if they refused.

Headley claimed that Scientology leaders feared pregnancies meant woman were trying to leave the church, so they allegedly ordered abortions.

She shared with Remini that she knew people who had “up to six” abortions.

Joy Villa was virtually unknown prior to her wearing a Pro-Trump “Make America Great Again” dress to last year’s Grammy Awards. The strange thing about it is that Villa had been a Bernie Sanders supporter and right up to election day was telling her Twitter followers to cast a write in vote rather than vote for one of the two “crazy candidates.” Then she had an amazing pro-Trump epiphany that magically preceded a spike in sales for her EP. This also led to some television appearances on Fox News. (She’s black, in the entertainment industry, and allegedly supporting Trump? Of course Fox News called her.)

On Fox the woman who carried a “choose life” handbag and once literally wore a politician’s slogan as a dress to the event, has said that making the Grammy’s political is a bad thing.

Some suggest that Villa’s political adviser has some less than MAGA connections. (Why does a D-list celebrity need a political adviser, you ask? Because she’s considering running for Congress of course.)

Oh and just by mere coincidence, Joy Villa released her latest record on exactly the same day as her big pro-life coming out party.

That’s really convenient, huh?

This woman is a complete and total fraud.
