Biden Officials Quitting Over Israel Show Their True Colors - Historical Ignorance

On Wednesday, another Biden administration official submitted his resignation, citing President Joe Biden and his administration's policy supporting Israel in their fight against Hamas. Department of Education policy adviser Tariq Habash got his undies in a bunch because American policy supports Israel instead of terrorists and their sympathizers. Biden appointed Habash to help overhaul the student loan system and, you guessed it, fight inequities in higher education.

In his resignation letter, Habash wrote, “The Department of Education must play an active role in supporting institutions as they respond to the needs of students, faculty, and staff. This includes protecting all students who choose to exercise their first amendment right to engage in nonviolent actions, including expressing solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza.”

Once again, and probably nowhere near the last, a person calls it quits because of their underlying terrorist sympathizing tendencies. It is pretty laughable that people rage quit or throw tantrums because Hamas is finally getting wiped off the face of the Earth. Why is it funny, you ask? It's funny because several of these people are college-educated, and it shows. It shows because the education system — especially higher education — has thoroughly failed students in properly educating them or, in most cases, has thoroughly indoctrinated them in the ways of far-left ideologies and principals.

When it comes to world history, especially the history of the Middle East, the talking points and education plans of the leftist pundits and teachers are all that of a revisionist history viewpoint, where the past actions or policies of a nation and or group of people are judged by or viewed through a modern-day lens. In the case of the Middle East and Israel specifically, it gets worse, as bits and pieces of history are completely ignored or altered to justify hatred of the Jewish people and the nation of Israel.

There are many examples of pure and, in some cases, hilarious reactions or beliefs from people who hate Israel and meltdown at the slightest hint or perceived support of Israel. Hell, just seeing a blue and white wrapper on a sandwich can be perceived as an egregious amount of pro-Israel sentiment.

Former Porn star Mia Khalifa is another perfect example of how ignorant and completely misguided people are about Israel and its deep and rich history. Here, she is saying that the nation of Israel has only been a state since 1948, making it just over 70 years old.

The Jewish people trace their ancestry back over 3,000 years ago. According to not only the Jewish faith but the Christian and Islamic faith as well, the Jewish people trace their lineage to Abraham, who is recognized as the first patriarch of the Abrahamic religions, including Christianity, Islam, and Judaism. Over 1,000 years before Christ, and especially before the prophets of Islam, the tribes of Abraham and his descendants established the Kingdoms of Judah and, you guessed it, Israel. Over the next 800 to 1,000 years, the nation of Israel was conquered by other nations and retaken by the Jews several times over. But the fact remains that the Jewish people were living in Israel for almost 2,000 years before the establishment of the Islamic faith and people. The Islamic prophet Muhammed, for example, was born over 500 years after the death of Christ, in 570 AD. It was the followers and descendants of Muhammed who established the Rashidun Caliphate in 632 AD, which conquered a portion of northern Africa and most of the Middle East, including Israel.

No state even resembling what supporters today call Palestine existed until the Roman Empire conquered the nation of Judea (what is modern-day Southern Israel) in 6 AD. Following the Jewish-Roman wars during the 1st and 2nd centuries, a colony named "Syria Palaestina" was established in 136 AD. Fast-forward through history, over 2,000 years, the nation of Israel and its Jewish people have been the subject of countless invasions and subjugations. However, whether during the Roman, Byzantine, or Ottoman Empires, Israel has always existed.

Israel became what it is today on May 14th, 1948. Since that day, the people of Israel have been the subject of invasions, terrorist attacks, constant harassment, and more. Except for the four separate wars that were all initiated by outside Muslim nations, attacks on Israel have mainly targeted civilians. With the rise of Hezbollah, Hamas, and other Islamic terrorist organizations, Israeli civilians have been the primary target for attacks. Whether they blow up buses, buildings, or synagogues, or launch rockets into cities indiscriminately, the terrorists have always targeted civilians. The attacks by Hamas in October of 2023 showcase this in horrific detail, yet those on the left either ignore it, excuse it, or even deny that it happened.

America should always support Israel in its fight against evil; it is a righteous and justifiable fight. When terrorists went out of their way to massacre women and children, innocent civilians, burning them alive in some cases, decapitating or mutilating them in others, you are damned right that we have to support retribution for those crimes. The left always ignores the history of Israel; they refuse to admit that Israel has existed for thousands of years and predates the notion of Palestine, and they excuse Hamas or Hezbollah attacks because deep down, antisemitism runs through their veins.

Evil must be acknowledged and dealt with by overwhelming and precise force. Hamas needs to be wiped off the face of this Earth, for they pose grave threats to civilization and peace. The government workers who quit because they hate Israel need to be identified and shamed mercilessly, for they are the ones who allow evil to flourish.
