Singapore PM Drops Harsh Facts on Kamala Harris in Wake of Biden Afghanistan Debacle

Meanwhile, Kamala Harris.

As the Biden Afghanistan Debacle™ continued to worsen, the latest iteration of “Where’s Waldo?” — “Where’s Kamala?” — finally revealed that our intrepid vice president was on her way to Communist Vietnam, overwhelmingly repressive Singapore, and other such Southeast Asia countries that have zero relevance to the Biden disaster in Afghanistan. This raises the musical question: “Wait — huh?”

Make that the “Biden and Harris disaster in Afghanistan.” After all, Kamala proudly bragged to CNN’s Dana Bash that she was “the last one in the room” when Biden made the fateful decision, cluelessly and foolishly adding that little highlight to her resume — permanently.

After all, the last time we saw Kamala was over the weekend when she cackled as a reporter began to ask her about American civilians trapped in Afghanistan behind the enemy lines of the brutal Taliban.

Setting aside the non-existent logic of Harris jetting off, halfway around the world while Biden continues to self-implode by the hour (not that his equally hapless vice president, of all people, could save him at this point), the optics could not be more terrible. But, even better? Scroll on, gang, scroll on.

It Just Got Worse

As even Left “leaning” Mediaite reported on Tuesday, our incompetent vice president was told in no uncertain terms by Singapore strongman Lee Hsien Loong during a press conference that he believed after Biden’s “awry” withdrawal of troops led to the fall of Afghanistan in just 11 days, global perceptions of America would suffer a setback in the days to come.

Prime Minister Lee suggested to Harris that perception of America’s resolve and commitment is most at risk, particularly in respect to what the U.S. (translation: Joe Biden) does moving forward. (Emphasis, mine.)

“What will influence perceptions of U.S. resolve and commitment to the region will be what the U.S. does going forward: how it repositions itself in the region, how it engages its broad range of friends and partners and allies in the region, and how it continues the fight against terrorism.

Countries make calculations and take positions, and they have to make recalculations and adjust their positions from time to time. Sometimes it can be done smoothly. Sometimes there are hiccups. Sometimes things go awry and take time to put right.”

Yep, and sometimes things “go awry” and those responsible are (pick one more, as they apply) proud, stubborn, terrified of admitting failure, clueless, or downright delusional, to “put things right.”

Lee’s observations came after a reporter asked Harris what the U.S. message was to its partners, as Biden continues to flail the situation in Afghanistan continues to worsen.

And boy, did Kamala Harris go Kamala Harris in response. (Translation: Sound super important and grand and stuff while cluelessly reciting meaningless words that were no doubt written by someone who at the very least, has a clear picture of the reality of Afghanistan and a tad more insight into the nuances of America’s foreign policy.)

Harris turned and looked directly at Lee as she parroted the words.

“The reason I am here is because the United States is a global leader, and we take that role seriously. “This visit, combined with the agreements we have made and the work we continue to do as a nation to reinforce our commitment to these relationships, I believe, speak [sic] volumes to the integrity of the relationships the United States has around the world.”

Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. No word whether anyone in the room choked on his or her Singapore Sling.

Still, the vice president’s office labeled it “a productive day in Singapore.”

Harris was scheduled to depart Singapore for Vietnam on Tuesday and return to the U.S. on Thursday — and man, not a minute too soon. With the walls closing in on Joe Biden as his delusional cluelessness continues to peg, one can imagine he would welcome the return of hearty cackling in the West Wing.

Here’s the entire charade, if you’re so inclined.

Go figure.
