Sometimes, the jokes write themselves. The same can be said of political punditry, particularly when the topic is the ever-crazier crazy train of the unhinged left. And when one of the crazy train’s conductors, Minn. Rep. Ilhan Omar (D) accuses anyone of anti-Semitism, I barely have to touch my keyboard.

Case in point: Omar earlier this week accused former President Donald Trump of anti-Semitism for “invoking dual-loyalty tropes that are harmful and dangerous,” adding: “Anti-Semitism is on the rise and all of us have a responsibility to condemn it.”

Wait, huh? As one Twitterer mockingly asked, “Is this a joke?”

On the other hand, how awesome that Trump still lives rent-free in Omar’s head, 24×7, nearly two years after he left office, as is the case with the rest of the Democrat Party (along with Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger.) “Shockingly,” she also took a shot at Trump’s “white supremacist” followers:

To continue to have someone as the former president with his platform continuously speaking to his white supremacist base in such a language — it’s very scary and dangerous and we have to condemn it in the strongest ways possible.

Speaking of condemning racism in the strongest ways possible, let’s take a short trip back into RedState’s coverage of Omar and the “harmful and dangerous”  anti-Semitic comments she’s displayed over the last several years.

The list continues, but you already knew that.

Trump, on Sunday, criticized Jewish Americans over their perceived lack of support for Israel. Breitbart’s Joel Pollak tweeted a screenshot of the former president’s comments.

No President has done more for Israel than I have. Somewhat surprisingly, although, our wonderful Evangelicals are more appreciative of this than people of the Jewish faith, especially those living in the United States. Those in Israel, though, are a different story — Highest approval rating in the world, could easily be P.M.! [America’s] Jews have to get their act together and appreciate what they have in Israel — Before it’s too late!

As Trump suggested, most Jewish Americans vote Democrat.

Aside from the usual Trumpian braggadocio we’ve come to love — or loathe, as the case might be — The Donald was right on all points. Prove me — and Trump — wrong, my liberal friends. We’ll wait.
