Zuck Bucks 2024: The Left Gears up to 'Fundamentally Change How Our Elections Are Run'

(APEC)

Remember the 2020 election, America? It’s happening, again.

“It,” being left-wing non-profits like the Center for Tech and Civic Life (CTCL), funded by Mark Zuckerberg, co-founder of Facebook and its parent company Meta Platforms, and other leftist zillionaires are gearing up to skew the 2024 election. But this time, they’ve improved their game — considerably so.

Jason Snead, executive director of the Honest Elections Project, penned an op-ed posted to Daily Caller on Saturday about several left-wing non-profits, established solely to skew elections — which should be illegal — once again pumping millions of dollars in “dark money” into election offices across the country. But unlike their efforts in 2020, there’s a new twist:

CTCL and its allies aren’t just doling out mega grants, said Snead: “They are aiming for nothing less than a shadow takeover of election offices.” Through a new $80 million program called the “U.S. Alliance for Election Excellence,” the left is targeting specific election offices in a broad-based effort to “push liberal voting policies and systematically reshape how our elections are run.”

The CTCL admits as much on its website:

It’s time to push our democracy into the 21st century. We harness the promise of technology to modernize the American voting experience.

What you get: High-performing election offices. Increased public confidence and trust. A more resilient and adaptive election system. Better informed voters.

Lemme fix that:

“It’s time to push left-wing initiatives even more in the 21st century. We harness the promise of technology to skew the American voting experience. What you get: High-performing election offices, as determined by us. Decreased public confidence and trust. A more manipulative and adaptive election system. Better indoctrinated voters.”

There, that’s more accurate.

In 2020, Zuckerberg pledged more than 400 million ZuckBucks™ to support election offices during the pandemic. Noble? Hardly. The mayor of Zuckerville didn’t give the money directly to election offices; he instead gave the funds to leftist non-profits like CTCL. As one might imagine, CTCL in turn disproportionately directed Zuck’s millions to Democrat-controlled cities and counties in an effort to boost Democrat turnout. Remember how honest and transparent Zuck was about it? Me, neither. Sly? It gets worse.

Unlike in 2020, according to Snead, the Honest Elections Project learned — through the use of public records requests — that the U.S. Alliance for Election “Excellence” (sarc quote marks) is a “bait-and-switch operation” designed to reshape election offices and thwart oversight and public accountability. That is profound. I wonder how much play it’s getting on CNN and MSNBC, as well as from The New York Times and Washington Post? [rolling-eyes emoji]

Here’s more from Snead’s op-ed:

The records [Honest Election Project] uncovered revealed that unsuspecting election offices believed they were getting a badge of excellence from a nonpartisan group. In truth, they were being targeted by a highly partisan organization. Each of the Alliance’s partners has deep ties to the Democratic Party and to the biggest “dark money” groups in the country.

CTCL’s founders, for instance, worked for the New Organizing Institute, a group once dubbed the “Democratic Party’s Hogwarts for Digital Wizardry.” The Institute for Responsive Government and the Center for Secure and Modern Elections are both projects of the Arabella Advisors network, which raked in $1.5 billion in 2021 to support left-wing causes.

Imagine, for a nanosecond, how the aforementioned media outlets would react if the information contained in this article related to the Republican Party— hell, let’s make it even worse: Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans. Pretend journalists like Jim Acosta, Don Lemon, Joe Scarborough, and Joy Reid — not to mention the wingnuts of “The View” — would burst into flames before the eyes of their dwindling, low-information audiences.

But nary a peep in response to the reality of what’s happening here, and the direct threat it poses to what’s left of the integrity of our elections. Truth be told, they love every minute of it — and so does the Democrat Party.

And the cherry atop the election manipulation sundae?

The Alliance is adopting a “quid pro quo structure” that requires election officials to provide in-kind contributions in exchange for grants and services – all at taxpayer expense, of course — which includes data about how they operate, so the Alliance can craft “improvement plans” that reshape how each office operates.

Sounds to me like the whole thing is a thinly veiled effort to by the left to gain total control of our elections, but what do I know?
