71 Percent of Voters Believe There Are Only Two Genders — Disney, Bud Light, Target Hardest Hit

Every day brings a plethora of gender-related stories; some of them manufactured for the sake of “making news,” and others justifiable — as boycotts fight back. While a minute percentage of the U.S. population identifies as “transgender,” a new survey found a strong majority of likely voters believe in just two genders.

The survey also found that a majority of voters also oppose so-called “transition surgery” for minors.

Yet corporation after corporation continues to dive into the deep end of the transgender pool — with woke CEOs apparently believing that their “bold” embrace of so-called “inclusion” and radical wokism will somehow buy the world a Coke and help it sing in perfect harmony.

Yeah, no.

A new Rasmussen Reports survey, the results of which were released on Thursday, found a majority of Americans believe there are only two genders, and a majority also support laws against “transgender treatment” for minors — by a three-to-one margin.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 71% of American Adults agree with the statement that “there are two genders, male and female,” including 57% who Strongly Agree.

Twenty-three percent (23%) disagree, including 10% who Strongly Disagree. These findings are just slightly changed from December 2021, when Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling sparked controversy by criticizing transgender ideology.

Yet, it’s “almost” like the worse things get for overtly trans-supporting companies, the faster and deeper they dig their holes — with Bud Light and Target Corporation leading the pack by a transgender mile.

As we reported on Friday, retail giant Target is continuing to take it in the financial shorts after news first broke that the woke Minneapolis-based corporation partnered with a bizarre designer — who promotes T-shirts on his Instagram page featuring “Satan Loves You” and “Satan Respects Pronouns” messages, and other Satan-related gear — on its latest LGBTQ “Pride Month” line.

Target common stock ended Wednesday’s session down 2.2 percent, marking its ninth straight decline and the stock’s longest losing streak since an 11-day stretch that ended Feb. 24, 2000, according to Dow Jones data. Wednesday also marked the stock’s lowest close since Aug. 11, 2020.

According to a Target insider, after the disastrous rollout of Target’s latest LGBTQ Pride Month merchandise, staffers on both sides of the controversial issue remain ticked off at the company’s high-powered decision-makers.

Our teams feel left behind. The vast majority of our team feels like decisions are being made that impact them. It doesn’t matter which side you’re on, you now feel like people are making decisions without our best interest.

Because people have made decisions for us that put us in a very difficult position, there are a lot of folks that feel like, ‘Do we belong at Target?’ They question that for the first time in a long time.

As they well should. And here’s my favorite part: The insider noted that Target CEO Brian Cornell said “woke” capitalism is “great” for the Target brand, just days before the Pride controversy erupted, adding that he believed Target didn’t “have much to worry about.”

Oopsie.

That is unless a $13 BILLION market capitalization loss in less than two weeks is “great” for your brand and not “much to worry about,” genius.

Meanwhile, Bud Light just keeps digging its intentionally created hole, which began with perhaps the worst marketing decision in history: hooking up with 26-year-old Dylan Mulvaney, who pretends he’s a teenage girl. Bud Light paid the TikTok influencer to feature its beer in a number of TikTok videos. And Bud Light’s sales numbers, as a direct result of its Mulvaney disaster? Down nearly 30 percent.

So what does Bud Light do? Announces it’s set to sponsor three different Gay Pride events in the coming months, including an event along with Planned Parenthood and the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, which “medically transitions” minors.

Finally, as I referenced at the top, the Rasmussen Reports survey also found that 62 percent of Americans support laws barring hormone replacement therapy and “sex changes” — irreversible mutilation — for minors. Yet, the digging continues.

I gotta believe that somewhere, Einstein is scratching his head in bewilderment, as insanity rages.
