Love Them Or Hate Them, Comcast Got This One Right

As much as the George Soros-funded far left is trying to pick a fight on Net Neutrality, the facts are so plainly with FCC Chairman Ajit Pai, that even a corporate PR tweet from Comcast got it right.

Pai is a true bright spot of the Donald Trump administration. He got right to work once he was named Chairman of the Federal Communications Commission, starting to put right what the previous administration got wrong.

Key in that was the wholesale regulation of the Internet under 1930s telephone regulations, a move the left called Net Neutrality. But, as Comcast said:

Title II Reclassification has nothing to do with the technical concept of network neutrality. It’s a power grab. And even if the courts will let regulators interpret the laws pretty much any way they want, there’s no way Title II Reclassification fits within the letter or the spirit of the Telecommunications Act 1996.

The people, speaking through that bipartisan legislation, declared that they wanted the Internet to grow under a light regulatory touch. They didn’t want the Internet to turn into the Phone Company all over again. But Obama’s FCC decided to ignore that and go their own way.

Repeal is correct. Ajit Pai is correct. And Comcast just explained why in one simple tweet.
