President Donald Trump and the First Lady attended the LSU-Alabama game over the weekend and they were met with a very enthusiastic audience and thunderous applause.

When CNN interviewed some folks about impeachment, they didn’t get the answer they likely hoped to get, with folks saying they thought it was all political and a waste of time.

To their credit they did run that.

But there a few anti-Trump leftists there who brought the “Trump Baby” balloon in order to try to mock Trump.

However, it didn’t work out the way they planned.

32-year-old Hoyt Hutchinson took all the air out of their day, literally, when he ran up and punctured the balloon.

From NY Post:

Hutchinson allegedly cut an 8-foot-long gash in the back of the giant inflatable, which depicted a bright orange Trump clad in a diaper and clutching a cellphone.

Hutchinson was arrested and charged with felony first-degree criminal mischief after fleeing the crime scene in his hometown of Tuscaloosa, where a group of protesters had inflated the balloon for a demonstration at Monnish Park.

Hutchinson was unrepentant in a Facebook video he posted.

“Some liberals tried to come to my hometown and start some trouble. That ain’t happening,” Hutchinson said in the video. “I did get arrested. I got charged. That’s all right. I’d do it again given the opportunity.”

According to the Washington Times:

He said he vandalized the balloon because “I was so tired of it, man.”

“It comes a point when you’ve got to take a stand,” Mr. Hutchinson said. “We don’t have two parties anymore. We have good vs. evil. When you got one party that says it’s okay to kill babies—and by the way, that’s the first time I’ve ever seen a liberal get mad about chopping up a baby.”

Hutchinson started a GoFundMe page which aimed at getting $6,000, to pay the legal fees and what he might have to pay back in restitution. At last check it had already raised more than $45,000. It’s not clear what the status of the page will be because there was an update saying GFM wasn’t going to allow the donations but the last note seemed to suggest they might. But it’s still up and going.
