Thank You, Democrats, For Electing a Republican to Congress

Talk about impeachment backfire!

Everyone is having a great time, poking fun at Democrats, over the decision of Rep. Jeff Van Drew (D-NJ) to leave the Democratic Party after the Democrats pushing impeachment against President Donald Trump, a move with which Van Drew vehemently disagreed.

Van Drew, who lives in a Trump district in New Jersey, felt that the decision was divisive and pointless, ultimately harmful to the country. He also didn’t believe that there were the facts to support the case.

He was one of two Democrats who voted not to have the proceedings advance when they had a rules vote on impeachment on October 31 and he had announced he would be voting no on impeachment.

So as my colleague Bonchie reported earlier, reportedly, he’s decided to become a Republican after a visit with President Donald Trump in the White House, the only question is when he will make the switch.

That’s how bad the Democrats move has been, it’s definitely karma that it already cost them a congressional seat, even before the election.

“The R’s are gonna have an absolute field day with this one,” tweeted Politico’s Melanie Zanona and she was definitely right. Republicans are having a great time trolling Democrats on social media and celebrating over this.
