Mike Bloomberg did a Fox town hall on Monday night in Manassas, Virginia.

It definitely had some bad moments for him.

Among them was an audience member who called him out on his anti-gun posture, asking how he could take his gun control positions while being protected by an armed security detail. Bloomberg’s response? Basically: I’m running for president and I’m rich, so I get a lot of threats. In other words, I get to do it, but too bad for you. Rules for thee, but not for me. Then he also lied a lot, suggesting he was really only interested in background checks and guns not falling into the wrong hands.

But Bloomberg didn’t just pull that argument out when it came to guns.

He also got called out for his huge carbon footprint with homes around the world and his fleet of private jets while pitching climate change for everyone else.

Martha MacCallum said that people wanted to ask him about how he can fly around everywhere including to Bermuda to play golf and still push climate change. Isn’t that hypocrisy, she asked him.

His argument? I need to fly around everywhere to get rid of coal plant and people’s coal jobs. Alrighty, now.

Then he suggests he’s too important to fly public because the airlines don’t want the trouble? Really?

Tons of famous people fly public, most don’t have their own planes. This is just ridiculous spin and/or he thinks he’s just too important for words. Pro tip? No, Mike, you’re not.

Gonna bet that he’s just full of it there, this is like he led NYC thru 9/11 (despite not even being the Mayor at the time).

Indeed, as well as other coal states. Bloomberg apparently is ignorant as to the importance of coal and such anti-coal comments. He maybe should check how well that worked for Hillary Clinton.
