Joe Biden did very well on Super Tuesday after Pete Buttigeig and Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) were persuaded to drop out and endorse him and the establishment coalesced behind Biden in order to head off Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT).
We still have to see how the delegate count shakes out, but Biden did better than was expected and it looks like he’ll be leading although it will be tight.
Right now the Democrats voting for Biden aren’t really reconciling themselves with reality yet. While those Democrats may not want Sanders, they aren’t yet looking with clear eyes at Biden and all his baggage, as my colleague Bonchie has noted. And that doesn’t just mean his gaffes and his readily apparent mental deterioration which would become more apparent in a head to head competition with President Donald Trump.
While Sanders is a declared socialist and people have been sold something of a bill of goods that Biden is a moderate (perhaps by comparison to Sanders), Biden still has a host of positions that are very far left.
On Tuesday, he sat down for breakfast with Beto O’Rourke who he had said that he would be putting in charge of his gun control policies. Beto of course has threatened radical confiscation of guns. He’s said, “Yes, I am coming for your AR-15s and your AK-$7s.”
Joe Biden embraces anti-Second Amendment extremist Beto O'Rourke, who has called for gun confiscation, says:
“[Beto’s] going to take care of the gun problem with me. You’re going to be the one who leads this effort. I’m counting on you. We need you badly. You’re the best.” pic.twitter.com/rgc71q3KfR

At the breakfast, Biden literally promises into the camera to “change the face of gun control” with O’Rourke as he laughed about it with Beto.

At a recent campaign event, Biden asked how many of the people in the audience had done well with the Trump tax cut. 80% of Americans actually benefitted from the tax cut, but Democrats have consistently lied about it as a “tax cut for the rich.”
A man in the audience dared to raise his hands and challenge Biden saying that he had done well.
So what did Biden say?
“Well, that’s good. I’m glad to see you’re doing good already. But guess what, if you elect me, your taxes are gonna be raised, not cut, if you benefited from that,” Biden promised.
From Daily Wire:
“The reality is that these tax cuts benefited the middle class incredibly in this country,” Don Jr. posted via Instagram.
“It was needed to spur investment into American companies and this is why you have the unemployment number if you have and why you have rising wages for the lowest income earners,” he explained. “Joe wants to take all of that away and destroy the American middle class probably to pay for free healthcare, insurance, and free education for illegals.”
Don Jr. added that Biden “may be worse than The Bern,” referring to Democratic presidential candidate and open socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT).
Here’s what would happen if Biden got what he wanted, according to the Americans for Tax Reform.
A family of four earning the median income of $73,000 would see a $2,000 tax increase.
A single parent (with one child) making $41,000 would see a $1,300 tax increase.
Millions of low and middle-income households would be stuck paying the Obamacare individual mandate tax.
Utility bills would go up in all 50 states as a direct result of the corporate income tax increase.
Small employers will face a tax increase due to the repeal of the 20% deduction for small business income.
The USA would have the highest corporate income tax rate in the developed world.
Taxes would rise in every state and every congressional district.
The Death Tax would ensnare more families and businesses.
The AMT would snap back to hit millions of households.
Millions of households would see their child tax credit cut in half.
Millions of households would see their standard deduction cut in half, adding to their tax complexity as they are forced to itemize their deductions and deal with the shoebox full of receipts on top of the refrigerator.
This would kill the booming economy and decimate many middle class families.
So please, stop spreading that this guy is a moderate. His proposals are anything but, on top of the mental deterioration.
