Biden Has a Plan That's Sure to Beat Trump (Too Bad Trump's Already Doing It)

Joe Biden is trying very hard to stay relevant.

He was getting some attention after he won primaries against Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT).

But since the Wuhan coronavirus hit and began to take over all the news, interest in Biden has just dissipated.

While Trump has been getting positive approval from the Americans for his handling of the virus, with 60 percent approval (and even 1/4 of Democrats approving), Biden has slid into irrelevance.

He’s left to grasping at straws with favorable media in coverage from his basement.

But even that hasn’t gone particularly well, since even with that pretty much complete control, he’s still offering up babbling and gaffes.

As we reported earlier, he couldn’t seem to get out what he was trying to say about Trump in a garbled sentence. He also misnamed CVS, referring to it as CVC.

But now, Biden appeared with Brooke Baldwin on CNN. Both CNN and MSNBC have been doing the best they can to give him coverage. But it’s really not helping him. Biden just came up with an idea that’s sure to beat Trump.

Are you ready for it? Are you sitting down? Ok, here it is. Biden says that Trump should…put someone in charge of dealing with the virus.

“He should have someone else in charge with him, making sure that all these things get implemented.”

Do tell. Someone ought to tell Vice President Mike Pence, head of the White House Task Force on the virus about that idea. Or White House Task Force response coordinator, Dr. Deborah Birx. Or even Peter Navarro, the head of coordination around the Defense Production Act. Maybe they might have some thoughts for Biden.

Even Brooke Baldwin couldn’t play that with enthusiasm, just going “hmm.” Because she knew better that there was already someone in charge. Of course, she didn’t push back and tell him that they already had that, that there’s been a task force since January dealing with the virus. That Trump had that while Democrats were still concentrated on impeaching him and while Biden himself was calling cutting travel from China “xenophobia.”
