Project Veritas has a new video out, focusing on funeral directors who are blowing the whistle on the alleged padding of Wuhan coronavirus death totals.

The Project Veritas folks spoke with funeral directors out of New York who believed that the deaths were being attributed to the virus whether they were due to the virus or not.

The tape reveals a completely haphazard approach, as James O’Keefe observes, marking down people as having the virus whether they had it or not. If people died at home people would rather put “COVID” rather than have to go into the home if the person had a fever, if they died with a respiratory issue, having it automatically attributed to COVID without testing, etc.

From PJ Media:

“Basically, every death certificate that comes across our desk now has COVID on it,” said a funeral director in Williston Park, N.Y., on a recorded phone call with Project Veritas in a newly-released video. [….]

“They are putting COVID on a lot of death certificates because people who are going to their hospital with any kind of respiratory distress, respiratory problems, pneumonia, the flu — the flu-like symptoms lead into the COVID-19,” said Joseph Antioco of Schafer Funeral Home. “To me, all you’re doing is padding the statistics. You’re putting people on that have COVID-19 even if they didn’t have it. You’re making the death rate for New York City a lot higher than it should be.”

There was even one director, Josephine Dimiceli of the Dimiceli and Sons Funeral Home, who described a case where a woman died who was released to a Supreme Court Justice. The death was attributed to the virus. But the sister of the woman who died didn’t believe it. They did an independent autopsy after the Supreme Court Justice contacted the hospital and found that in fact, it wasn’t COVID.

But that’s because someone objected to the declaration. What if no one objected or if someone died alone or without family to push the point?

Dimiceli described another situation of a death from a nursing home that was attributed to COVID. The nursing home said it was a “failure to thrive” but they put down COVID because they assume everyone has it.

All the directors interviewed on video felt the numbers were being jacked, some believing for political reasons, possibly to get more federal money if it’s attributed as a virus death.

More than a little troubling. We may never know exactly what the true numbers with all of this. This isn’t the only place where this may be a problem, especially if things like the virus relief bill incentivizes attributing deaths to the virus.
