Whoops: Schiff's New 'Whistleblower' Has Some Serious Issues, According to Schiff Himself

As my colleague Streiff laid out on Wednesday, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) was trying to pull another ‘whistleblower’ out of the hat and touting more impeachment nonsense.

At this point, they’re running out of time, so they’re trying to throw anything they can against the wall in an effort to influence the election. They’re really lousy at it too, like with The Atlantic piece — debunked within a couple of days — and the Bob Woodward story that got debunked even faster than that.

So Schiff claimed that the whistleblower, Brian Murphy, had filed a complaint alleging DHS suppressed intel reports on Russian election interference. Yawn. Russia, Russia, Russia.

Except it turns out that there’s a small problem with Murphy, according to Schiff’s own assessment of him in August, when Murphy was reassigned for keeping reports on protesters and press in the Portland BLM/Antifa actions. Schiff implied that Murphy had lied to the Committee and that they would be investigating him.

From NY Times:

“In light of recent public reports, we are concerned that Murphy may have provided incomplete and potentially misleading information to Committee staff during our recent oversight engagement,” Mr. Schiff continued, adding that the committee would “be expanding our oversight even further in the coming days.”

Now, what a surprise, suddenly he has information that helps Schiff? And now, we’re expected to believe the guy that Schiff himself said gave misleading information?

Can we call this too much of a coincidence? Or is it an effort to give Schiff what he wants to get him off his back? But whether that’s the case or not, Schiff pulling out someone whose veracity he himself has questioned looks more than a little desperate at this point.

Not to mention, no one at this point gives a darn about Russia, Russia, Russia. We have enough to deal with, like how much Democrats are throwing the country under the bus.
