While President Donald Trump was nominating Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court today, Joe Biden was being interviewed from his home by MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle and trying simply to answer questions coherently. And failing.

During the interview, Biden tried to attack President Donald Trump, saying that only 1% of the money in the Paycheck Protection Plan had been paid out. This, of course, was false, as billions have gone out and it’s had to be replenished because the initial amount was given out.

He realized what he was saying was wrong, but he still couldn’t remember or figure out what he was talking about. As he tried, you could see Stephanie Ruhle’s face. She looked like she was thinking “my gosh, really?” Finally, she just had to step in and tell him what the answer was, Mainstream Lending Program, it looked like maybe she checked notes, so I wonder if that was a prepared question/answer.

What would he do without helpful and supportive media propping him up at every turn?

It got worse. Look at her face as he completely loses it here, I don’t even have any idea who he’s talking about when he mentions “John” or what he’s really saying. Does he mean the President? Biden is a complete mess, he’s inventing imaginary people now.

He then went over the slide and compared Trump to Goebbels. Just completely offensive.

But if all the above weren’t enough, he had another “what the heck” moment, as well, today.

While he was virtually speaking to the United States Conference of Mayors, he was describing how long he’d been in the Senate, saying that he got there, “180 years ago.”

The problem, of course, is that doesn’t feel that far off when it was over forty years ago and unfortunately he comes across like it.

Biden’s supposed to be debating on Tuesday. Is he even going to make it?
