More Republicans Revolt Against Pelosi's Mask Rule While She Gets Busted Without Mask on Floor

Despite the new CDC guidance that vaccinated people no longer have to wear masks indoors, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (Delusional-CA) is not changing the House policy of requiring masks on the House floor, regardless of vaccination status.

According to the Washington Examiner, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy introduced a resolution calling for the attending physician to update the mask-wearing rule in the House chamber in accordance with what the CDC has said.

But Pelosi refused to go along with it, calling it “a sad stunt,” apparently deciding to disregard the CDC guidance. McCarthy said she wasn’t acting in accordance with the science.

“As elected officials, we have a responsibility to send a message to the American people that we believe in the safety and efficacy of the vaccine,” McCarthy and a group of GOP lawmakers who are medical doctors said in a statement. “The Speaker’s reluctance to trust the science, will only help to sow distrust in the vaccines.”

Pelosi then issued a new statement Wednesday from the attending physician saying that the floor and committee rooms “received special medical consideration for continued mask wear,” including “underlying health conditions and age.”

Meanwhile, she’s going after any House members who are flouting her anti-scientific rules, including Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY). As we previously reported, Massie said most members of Congress were no longer wearing masks in the hallways or offices, just for television appearances. So he was leading a revolt of other members who said they didn’t care about Pelosi’s edict and a threat of a $500 fine, saying the edict wasn’t based on science. He was joined by at least eight others, including Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX).

Now Massie has received a letter from Pelosi, warning that he has violated her mask rule, that a further violation would invoke the $500 fine and a subsequent violation would cost him $2500. Massie then filed it in the appropriate place.

So let’s just review. This is Pelosi on the floor last Friday, according to a CNN congressional reporter.

This is okay? Apparently, the leather jacket makes it okay. Or is this the Pelosi exception? Is she going to fine herself now? Sure looks like we just busted her. So how is this consistent with her edict? Is she endangering grandmothers? Not to mention that when she wears the mask, she’s always wearing it incorrectly.

Rep. Beth Van Duyne (R-TX) called Pelosi out on The Faulkner show today on the Kabuki theater of it all, saying Pelosi only wants masks when the cameras are on.

Can we call an end to the theater already?
