Democrats are doing all they can to distract from the horrible inflation which just hit new heights of bad. Their hope was the Jan. 6 Committee. But that isn’t going over so well. Now, we know we’ve had a lot of Jan. 6 coverage, but before I head off for more salient things, I couldn’t help but comment on the reaction of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (Delusional-NY).

AOC was teary, saying on Instagram she was “so angry” having to “relive that footage.” Her Instagram post said, “I’m shaking all over again.” “We were trapped on the campus with no way out.”

“On a personal level, I wasn’t expecting it to feel like this,” AOC had written out on her Instagram video. “But that’s how trauma works, right? You think you’re good. But now so many of the sensations from that day are roaring back into my skin, my muscles, my bones. Whole body is CLENCHED. But we all have tools to handle moments like these: breath, mindfulness, etc.”

Except, as we know, there’s a small problem with all this — that she wasn’t in the Capitol building at the time, she was in her office, in the Cannon Office Building, about a half a mile away. Her “experience” allegedly consisted of claiming she was frightened by a police officer who came to evacuate her to another building. She wasn’t “trapped” by anyone, much less with “no way out.” She even smeared the officer who came to help her, claiming he was dealing with her with all this “anger and hostility.” As Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) who had a nearby office noted, there were no rioters near their office hall. AOC then had a meltdown that Mace dared to bust her narrative.

But AOC’s story is still evolving. It had this new piece where she seems to suggest she knew the riot was going to happen ahead of time.

‘This was planned. I received so many notifications leading up to that day. People telling me dress to in plain clothes. Telling me I was going to be a target. Let’s also dispense with this myth it was poor people. These people had private jets, were staying at nice hotels and were going to happy hour afterwards. They had resources. They were targeting the Vice President and the Speaker of the House as well as everybody who was in that chamber and on that campus.

Private jets? Really? So she knew more than the Capitol Police and the FBI? Fascinating, please share more, perhaps she should have a chat with the police and share all her knowledge with them.

Oh, and by the way, where’s that camera footage?
