WATCH: Elon Musk Fulfills Wish of Little Kids and YouTuber

YouTuber Fidias Panayiotou has been on a mission. It’s a bit of an unusual mission — he wants to hug Elon Musk.

The YouTuber has hugged 99 famous people but he wanted Musk, the person he says is his favorite person in the world, to be the 100th person.

So he’s been camping outside SpaceX and then the Twitter headquarters trying to get Musk’s attention for the past couple of months. He would wave a sign saying “searching for Elon Musk.” He even dressed up in costumes trying to get attention and posted multiple humorous videos on his Youtube channel to his many followers about his quest. He got a lot of encouragement, but no dice.

But it looked like his quest might be in vain and he was on the verge of giving up. It was especially hard after people were trying to track Musk’s live location and a stalker targeted Musk’s son’s car. Then it seemed Musk would even be more unlikely to pay attention to his request.

Then, when it seemed most unlikely, some little kids approached Musk while he was at the World Cup in Qatar. We reported on his trip to the World Cup before, where he was spotted with Jared Kushner, which led some to think he was going to make Kushner the next Twitter CEO. That drove the left crazy with the thought that Donald Trump’s son-in-law might be put in charge of the platform. However, the word was he was looking at other people that he knew as possible CEOs. The kids who met Musk in Qatar were thrilled to meet him, but the one thing they wanted? For him to hug Fidias. This is so cute.

“Elon Musk is one of the most down-to-Earth human beings I’ve seen. He inspires me to be kind to everyone and to be a good human being,” Musk’s friend Pranay Pathole tweeted about the kids meeting with Musk at the World Cup.

That’s when Musk said he would hug Fidias, “The kids I talked to just had one request, which was to hug this guy who keeps trying to hug me in SF. I checked to see if they were sure about that and they were, so I will.”

Elon Musk then confirmed it to Fidias himself that he would do it, and they said they would arrange a meeting for the hug.

Fidias was so grateful that he’s succeeded in his mission, he called up the little kids who helped him to achieve his goal to thank them for making it happen. That gave the kids another thrill and you can see how excited they are.
