WATCH: JFK's Grandson Shows How Desperate Dems Are With His Attack on Cousin RFK Jr.

Democrats pulled out all the stops to go after Robert F. Kennedy Jr. this past week during the House Weaponization Committee hearing. Instead of being concerned about the issues of censorship that he was bringing forth, the Democrats on the Committee voted to censor him in a hearing on censorship. Their vote failed, and he was allowed to speak. But as we reported, they still kept interrupting him and trying to shut down what he was saying.

As I’ve said, they’re afraid that his words about censorship might have weight because his name is Kennedy, and that still means something to Democrats. They might listen to what he has to say when they might not if it was just the Republicans saying the same thing.

So it looks to me now that they’re pulling out “the Kennedy Defense.” In another effort to try to blunt what RFK Jr. is saying, he’s now being attacked by members of his family. This shows how worried the Democrats are about the impact Kennedy is having. They know they can’t afford to lose any votes, and his remarks are costing them supporters.

His sister Kerry Kennedy condemned his comments regarding COVID, calling them “deplorable.” Other Democrats had termed them antisemitic. RFK Jr. denied that charge. He argued he was citing a study, and Democrats were wrongly twisting what he had said.

After his remarks drew fierce backlash, Kennedy tweeted that he has “never, ever suggested that the COVID-19 virus was targeted to spare Jews.”

“I accurately pointed out — during an off-the-record conversation — that the U.S. and other governments are developing ethnically targeted bioweapons and that a 2021 study of the COVID-19 virus shows that COVID-19 appears to disproportionately affect certain races since the furin cleave docking site is most compatible with Blacks and Caucasians and least compatible with ethnic Chinese, Finns, and Ashkenazi Jews,” he said.

Democrats have shown in the past that they don’t seem all that hot to condemn truly racist or antisemitic comments when it doesn’t serve their political purposes, as we reported the other day regarding them having to be shamed into signing a resolution condemning the racist comments against Justice Clarence Thomas or the antisemitic comments by Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN).

But Jack Schlossberg — the grandson of President John F. Kennedy and the son of Caroline Kennedy — gave away the game in his attack on his cousin. He didn’t even attack the COVID remarks, he attacked his cousin for daring to challenge Joe Biden, “the greatest progressive president we’ve ever had.” That’s the real problem here for the Democrats, and Schlossberg made that clear.

Schlossberg said that Biden “shares his grandfather’s vision for America.” He touted his grandfather’s legacy and said it was about “public service and courage.” He then laid out what he said were Biden’s achievements, including “ending” both the war in Afghanistan and COVID. He also claimed that Biden “ended Donald Trump.”

“These are the issues that matter, and if my cousin Bobby Kennedy Jr. cared about any of them, he would support Joe Biden, too,” he argued. “Instead, he’s trading in on Camelot, celebrity, conspiracy theories, and conflict for personal gain and fame. I’ve listened to him. I know him. I have no idea why anyone thinks he should be president. What I do know is, his candidacy is a vanity project.”

Translation: how dare you challenge the choice of the powers that be?

Imagine how much you have to have sold your soul to call Biden “great” given all the harm that he has caused the country, although I grant you Biden has moved us much further down the terrible “progressive” path. Imagine attacking your family member to defend someone like Biden; how sad is that? Biden created a debacle that cost the lives of 13 young Americans and many more Afghans and left Americans and allies behind when he pulled us out of Afghanistan. He didn’t “end” COVID; it’s a virus—how could he end it? Indeed, Biden put Americans through all kinds of oppressive measures and mandates. He also hasn’t “ended” Donald Trump, although Democrats do seem to be pulling out all the legal stops to go after him. But trying to turn us into a banana republic by going after a political opponent is not exactly something to brag about. The latest polls show Trump beating Biden in the 2024 election by five points.

Talk about an unintentional ad against Joe Biden, and for anyone running against him, this would be it.

Schlossberg talks about “courage.” I probably don’t agree with what RFK Jr. has to say on many things, he’s still a Democrat. But it takes courage to stand up to the powers that be and call out how they are using the government against the people, particularly so when he knows what power can be leveled against him and what it can cost him. He’s doing that, even if his cousin and family don’t recognize that and want to throw him under the bus. That’s a “Profile in Courage.”
