WH Tries to Cover-up Biden's Racist Remark - With a Little Clean up of the Official Record

Joe Biden has a long history of racist comments.

As we reported, he said a lot of weird and disturbing things on Thursday when he was speaking about "Bidenomics" including making a strange comment about Gov. Wes Moore's biceps. But he also included this racist comment while he was claiming that he had done a lot for minorities during his career.

We not only recovered all the jobs we lost during the pandemic, we’ve added millions more.

We’ve seen record lows in unemployment, particularly — and I’ve focused on this my whole career — particularly for African Americans and Hispanic workers and veterans, you know, the workers without high-school diplomas.

The video went viral even though liberal media largely failed to report on it. So much for doing their job when it comes to Joe Biden. The video now has over 3.3 million views.

But guess who was also seemingly trying to clean this up (some might say cover this up). The White House — in their transcript of the remarks. The transcript added an "and" to what Biden said without any notation that that wasn't what he said.

We’ve seen record lows in unemployment, particularly — and I’ve focused on this my whole career — particularly for African Americans and Hispanic workers and veterans, and [emphasis added] you know, the workers without high-school diplomas.

That, of course, changed the nature of what he truly said.

That's shameful. The transcript is supposed to be a historical record of what he said; it's not supposed to be a way to try to clean up things when he says something bad. If Biden intended to say something different, the practice is to publish what he said with an edit note through it as to what he was supposed to say. So you reflect that in the record, but you accurately report what was said. They have to do that a lot with Biden. But here, they didn't do that, which makes this dishonest. I'm guessing they knew how bad this was and didn't want that to go up, even with an edit note. They just wanted to skip right over it and pretend it didn't happen.

But it did, and this is not the first time the White House has played this game of trying to change the transcript. One of the most recent examples was in May when Biden called Representative Ilhan Omar "Congressman," told her he was going to get into trouble for calling her beautiful, and called the Quran the "Quorum."  The transcript left in the "beautiful" part but left out the calling her a man and what he called the Quran.  But video caught it, so the evidence is there even if the White House tried to sweep it away.

They can scramble and try to cover for Joe Biden, but they can't cover up his problems, they can't cover up how bad he is, they can't cover how much he has deteriorated, and they can't cover up the truth.
