Hamas has kicked off a horrible war against Israel, with Iran's complete approval, with Iran despicably saying that they supported the "proud operation ."
That's prompted many to point out that this follows the U.S. releasing $6 billion to Iran via a third party, in exchange for hostages. Not only was it bad to pay for hostages, since that only incites more hostage-taking, but that's then handing that money to Iran that they can now access.
Biden National Security Council spokesperson Adrienne Watson claimed the money wasn't being used for the Hamas terrorists' war on Israel.
I can't comment on 2024 because of the Hatch Act. But I can clarify the facts: Not a single cent from these funds has been spent, and when it is spent, it can only be spent on things like food and medicine for the Iranian people.

Multiple other members of the Biden team put out the same message.
The money is held in a bank in Qatar with restrictions that it's only supposed to be doled out to third-party vendors for humanitarian reasons, like food, medicine, and agricultural products, and the U.S. would allegedly know if it was somehow misspent.
But now, even assuming that the whole system works as it's supposed to, the Biden team doesn't seem to understand that money is fungible, and if the money will take care of food and medicine that Iran might need, then Iran doesn't have to spend money on those things. Even if that money hasn't been touched yet, they would know that they can request it for food and medicine. It frees up money that they might have to devote to food and medicine for other things like terrorism.
Either the Biden team is beyond naive, or they think we are. Plus, why would you ever want to cut money loose to help the mullahs hold onto power, which is exactly what this does, even apart from any terrorism outside of Iran? When you do that, Iran knows you are weak and they can run roughshod over you; that's exactly what we're seeing now with this response.
Iran -- the guys that the Biden team gave money to, the guys they seem to keep wanting to make a deal with -- were chanting "Death to Israel," "Death to America," "Israel is destroyed," "Palestine is victorious," this morning, according to Tasnim News.

That's who the Biden team is helping with their actions.
This is what the Iranian leader thought about those restrictions. He basically said they will use their money as they see fit.
