Squad's Cori Bush: How Dare You Endanger Us by Questioning Our Radical Statements on Israel?

The Squad has faced criticism for some of the sketchy remarks they have made regarding the Israeli-Hamas war. For example, Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) accused Joe Biden of committing genocide but then put out an ad herself that contained the chant "From the river to the sea." That is a call used by Hamas and others for the elimination of the state of Israel. Tlaib tried to paint it as an "aspirational call," but no one was buying that. Aspirational? Of what? No Israel?

Tlaib was justifiably slammed for the ad by people like Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), who said that Tlaib was "calling for genocide of the Jewish people."

Then Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO) came to her fellow Squad member's defense in what has to be one of the most ironic efforts ever.

"This is a lie," Bush claimed. "This rhetoric is dangerous and needs to stop. This endangers the life of Rashida and Palestinians standing up for their liberation everywhere."

Are you kidding me? Tlaib and other members of the Squad have accused Israel and the U.S. of being involved in genocide. That's endangering Americans.

And endangering "Palestinians standing up for their liberation," she says? Did she miss Hamas killing more than 1400 Israelis and dozens of Americans and kidnapping/not letting go hundreds more? Who is endangering who here, and isn't it supposed to be Cori Bush and the Squad's obligation to defend Americans? And liberation from what? Israel isn't occupying them, and they are ruled by Hamas. The only liberation the people of Gaza need is to be free of Hamas, and the Squad seems to want to stand in the way of that.

The Squad's call for a ceasefire with terrorists is endangering people's lives, trying to interfere with wiping out the terrorists who continue to vow to wipe out Israel and the Jewish people. There have been countless ceasefires in the past; one was ongoing when Hamas broke it with the October 7 attack on Israel. If Hamas continues to want to wipe out the Jews, calls for a ceasefire ensure more of the same attacks and death.

As our sister site, Townhall, observed, "Tlaib willfully amplified an actually dangerous lie about Israel bombing a hospital in Gaza, even blaming President Biden for the 500 casualties." That endangered Jews and Americans around the world when rioters stormed various embassies, including American embassies.

The Squad members aren't the victims here. They're the ones blaming the victims.

Bottom line? The Squad wants to paint their opponents as responsible for genocide or violence, but they don't want to take responsibility for their own -- often erroneous -- comments. It was the same thing during the BLM riots when they tried to whip up the anti-police sentiment. Yet they weren't held to account for any of the results, all the damage, and people who were hurt or killed as a result.
