What a Way to Ring in the New Year: Milei Fights Communism, Shares Steamy Kiss With Girlfriend on Stage

Argentina is full of ebullient people, perhaps none more so than its new president, Javier Milei.

While many ring in the New Year going to parties, having some adult libations, or watching the ball drop in New York City, Milei certainly celebrated it in a unique manner.

Milei showed that he practices what he preaches: He flew coach on a regular plane, paid for out of his own pocket to go to where his girlfriend actress Fatima Florez was performing at the Roxy Theatre in Mar del Plata on Friday. John Kerry and the Biden team could learn something from this guy. Then once Milei got to the stage where Florez was performing in her show, they shared a passionate kiss while the audience cheered.

He then said to the audience it was going to be tough, and worse before it got better, but they would get through it and they had to move forward.

Milei just took over in the past month. Yet he was immediately at work trying to right the ship of state that leftist policies have run into the ground. They have been in deep economic trouble with insane levels of inflation of 180 percent and expected to go even higher. He's had to take big steps to try to fix things.

Milei abolished 12 of 21 government ministries on his first day in office. He repealed a 300-page long list of business regulations. He also cut 5,000 government employees who were hired in the past year before he took office as part of a wider list of cutbacks.

When he announced the massive deregulation, he gave this speech that skewered Communism and all its related "isms" as he detailed how it had so harmed his country and that there needed to be change. This is a brilliant response to the effort of government officials trying to control the masses when as he says, they are supposed to serve us. After listing the massive problems they faced, "That change begins today," he said,

Actual economic thought and inflation reduction by cutting spending and freeing the individual to produce, rather than be commanded under the boot heel of the state.

Would that our Democrats and some of our other government officials understood what he's saying as they try to lead us down that same failed path.

Milei haș shown that you can live life to the fullest and still battle the forces of evil that afflict our governments. Now if we can just vote out Biden, we can begin our own renewal and turn away from the policies that have so harmed our own nation.
