Bill Maher Does a Devastating Dissection of Narcissistic Far Left Protesters

Bill Maher ripped into radical leftist protesters during his "New Rule" segment on his "Real Time" show for blocking roads and highways over the war in Gaza.

We reported on some of that disruption including how they shut down the Golden Gate Bridge for hours. Of course the protesters didn't give a darn about the lives they may have disrupted or who they might have hurt with their actions.

"Someone needs to tell the people who block traffic in the name of a cause -- no one likes you. And you're probably hurting your cause," Maher said. He noted they also blocked traffic in Los Angeles on the 405. But "no one noticed," he quipped.

You have to be pretty dumb to think the way to bring people around to your point of view is to make them late to pick up their kids from daycare. And that's what most normies are thinking. I have a kid, I have a job. And, yes, I'm sure there are injustices on both sides in the Middle East. As there are injustices all over the world, but I'm going to be late for work. Something you protesters on the bridge seem to have the luxury of not having to worry about, which seems kind of privilegy. You can glue your hands to the street because your hands don't have to do any work today.

He wasn't just talking about the Gaza radicals, as he included pictures of climate protesters in Europe as well when he was talking about gluing their hands to the street.

Maher said for a lot of the "social justice warriors," it seemed to be more about the "warrioring" then whatever the "cause" was. If they really cared about apartheid, "which Israel does not actually practice," wouldn't you start with calling out the treatment of women who deal with a "true apartheid" of "a gender apartheid of the most brutal kind?"

Maher was referring to how women are treated in some Islamic nations.

"I'll wait," Maher said, daring the radicals to actually care about women. "Are you really speaking truth to power?"

Or do you just think you look cool in a keffiyeh? Which is really just the new Che Guevara t-shirt. Another historical figure you never researched and so think is a hero but is actually a sadistic racist monster, fighting for communism, the worst form of government ever. But these are small matters.

Small matters he said when "activism merges with narcissism."

"Less about the cause and more about me. Look at me, watch me. And if you like the way I'm fighting injustice, remember to like and subscribe," he said, nailing what it's all about especially in this social media time.

It really isn't about the cause per se Gaza, Occupy, or BLM. It's about the leftism underlying it all for the organizers who tend to be a lot of the same people. But for some of the folks it's also about doing the current "thing" and/or making themselves think they are worth something. It's why it attracts the confused. Some of them don't even know the issues like that there isn't an "occupation" in Gaza or apartheid in Israel.

Maher asked the participants to consider some questions, like is the most important thing in my life something I hadn't heard of six months ago?

"Do I even know what the f--k I'm talking about? Am I really here for the cause or is the cause here to bring you me?"

Now that's one heck of an on-target line because that's what it's about -- bringing more people to leftism.

"Also throwing things on paintings is just stupid," Maher said, blasting one of the climate crew's favorite past times. "No one sees mashed potatoes on a Monet and thinks "He's got a point, I should recycle my cans."

He pointed out how Google had no patience when they had protesters trying a sit-in over Gaza basically also saying "See me!." He said they did "see them, to the door" as they were canned.

Maher also noted that when you talk about genocide that's what Hamas wants to do to Israel. Israel could do that do Gaza, but doesn't. "You know how you can find that out? Google it," he wryly joked.

Maher still holding onto his TDS had to slip in a shot at the end about former President Donald Trump. But the rest of it was truly gets how empty and ignorant these leftist protesters are and how much what they do alienates regular people.
