Sen. Al Franken didn’t disappoint during his turn to question Supreme Court nominee, Neil Gorsuch, on Tuesday. Franken started off with a sarcastic and unamused “I guess there aren’t any animal cruelty laws [in Colorado].” A response to an exchange with Sen. Ted Cruz that had Gorsuch chuckling over his kids learning to ride sheep, a practice known as “muttoning.”

After asking questions, including a variant of the same questions about a case involving a freezing truck driver and Franken condescendingly trying to tell Gorsuch what’s in the Consitution, Gorsuch had clearly had enough of Franken’s gotcha questions.

Gorsuch responded perfectly with the reaction we all have when faced with continuous nonsense: An eyeroll.
