Trump's Latest Conspiracy: Google Totally Rigs Their Search Engine Results!

Oh, how we long for the days of when Trump accused Ted Cruz’s father of conspiring to assassinate President John F. Kennedy.

The conspiracy theories are still there, but the latest one is a tad dull, if still ridiculous. Trump is under the impression that if one searches dear leader’s name on Google, the results come back listing websites such as CNN and The Washington Post.

I mean, God forbid two sites ranked in the top 100  (according to Alexa.com) in the country, have their results show first and not True Pundit or Gateway Pundit that rank in the top thousands. Here is what he said:

So basically what he’s saying is that Google has engineers that have created roadblocks in their algorithm so that when someone enters ‘Trump news” into their search engine, they can filter through the 762,000,000 results and show only the FAKE NEWS results.

The real problem is not so much that Trump is off his rocker when it comes to this stuff, it’s that his staff feels obligated to go along with it — at least at first.

Trump’s economic adviser, Larry Kudlow, said, “We’re looking into it,” when he was asked if the administration was going to try and regulate search engines. The likelihood that anything else comes of this is nil, so people should stop freaking out about it. Trump will be on to the next squirrel (i.e., Fox News hysteria) before we know it.

Still, for someone who claims to be a genius, Trump is so easily manipulated by what he sees on Trump-friendly Fox News programming, it’s scary to think what happened when he met alone with Vladimir Putin. I mean, if Steve Doocy can get Trump fixated on something, Putin must have had a field day.

Worse still, is Trump says this stuff and his hard-core supporters will believe it, despite not a shred of evidence to support it.
