Peace Through Strength

Israel is a trusted ally of the United States, sharing our common values of freedom and liberty. Israel has consistently proven its commitment to these principles, making it a reliable partner for the U.S. in a region where such allies are scarce.

Iran continues to engage in actions to spread unrest throughout the region. From its terrorist proxies, like Hamas and the Houthis, to its pursuit of nuclear weaponsIran's behavior poses a direct threat not only to Israel but to the United States.

We can't afford to turn a blind eye to Iran's actions and give this regime a free pass to attack our troops, shipping in the Red Sea, and innocent Americans and Israelis.

Iranian terrorists’ proxies, from Hamas in the Gaza Strip to Hezbollah in Lebanon and the Houthis in Yemen, are being used to draw the broader Middle East, the U.S., and our allies into a larger conflict.

Iran can’t be allowed to get its hands on a nuclear weapon. The Biden administration has failed to build on the successful sanctions the Trump administration used to cripple and bankrupt the Iranian regime.  President Biden is now demonstrating weakness when it comes to supporting a trusted ally who was brutally attacked by an Iranian terrorist proxy.

The U.S. must lead the free world in ensuring Iran never gets its hands on a nuclear weapon. A nuclear-armed Iran, teaming up with a new Axis of Evil featuring China, Russia, and North Korea, would have devastating consequences for Israel and the entire freedom-loving world.

The Biden administration must work with Congress to reimpose harsh sanctions on the Iranian regime. The Trump administration’s sanctions on Iran financially crippled this regime. The U.S. Senate needs to pass the Stop Harboring Iranian Petroleum Act, or the SHIP Act, which passed the U.S. House by a bipartisan vote last year.  The SHIP Act cuts Iran off from its main source of revenue, oil.  The bill also targets ports in China and elsewhere with sanctions for processing Iranian oil. This is one measure Congress should pass to hold Iran accountable for its destabilizing actions by cutting off its main source of revenue to fund its terrorist proxies like Hamas and the Houthis.

We can’t forget about the hostages the Iranian terrorist proxy Hamas continues to keep and use as human shields.  We need the Biden administration and the U.S. Congress to stand with the American and Israeli families whose loved ones are being held as Hamas prisoners. The message coming out of America and our leaders should be to bring them all home now.

Appeasement is a sign of weakness, and when it comes to dealing with the Iranian threat, the Biden administration must take a tougher stand. Israel is a trusted ally, and the U.S. must stand with our ally.  Hamas, backed by Iran, started this war. Israel will defend its people and homeland and needs allies like the U.S. to support them and push back against the hate and the double standard Israel faces on the international stage.
