As the Walls Close in, Fauci Doubles Down on More Lies Regarding COVID Origins

The last several months have not been good for Dr. Anthony Fauci, as the mainstream media has begun to catch up with months-old reporting we have been doing here at RedState. The not-go-good doctor has been pummeled with reports and accompanying information showing Fauci’s statements to Sen. Rand Paul, along with accusations that the Senator didn’t “know what [he is] talking about,” to be flat out lies. Sen. Paul has long held that the NIH funded gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Insitute of Virology, a contention Fauci has labeled as “lies” since at least May 11, 2021.

Fauci’s misinformation march came to a screeching halt last week when an NIH-published letter was made public which admitted that viruses were manipulated through gain-of-function to become more infectious and deadly and that some of that research conducted violated the terms of the grant given to EcoHealth Alliance, a non-profit which was acting as an intermediary for funding from the NIH to the Wuhan Institute of Virology. This report alone should have led to Fauci’s firing as the Director of NIAID, but there are still at least two other NIH-funded studies specifically labeled by researchers as gain-of-function that indicate research cooperation with scientists from the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

Despite the growing mountain of evidence that highlights Fauci’s lies, he continues to state that the EcoHealth Alliance grant did not fund gain-of-function research in Wuhan. Fauci made the rounds again on Sunday, telling George Stephanopoulos that neither he nor (the unexpectedly recently resigned) Francis Collins ever lied regarding the funding of gain-of-function research. But it was what Fauci later stated that showed that his approach to his misstatements isn’t just from that of communicating his version of the truth.

Fauci stated that none of the viruses on which experiments were being conducted could have ever become SARS-CoV-2. Yes, the viruses to which Fauci refers are the viruses reported by EcoHealth Alliance. Yes, we’ve talked about the efforts of a cover-up perpetrated by EcoHealth Alliance’s President Peter Daszak. Yes, we’ve covered why this and the other litany of reasons why anything from EcoHealth Alliance should be immediately called into question.  Yes, we’ve covered that the NIH’s own letter even failed to consider the potential of gain-of-function being conducted on other, more genetically similar viruses to SARS-CoV-2.

Fauci’s latest statement that it is “molecularly impossible” that any of the viruses could have created SARS-CoV-2, is potentially one of the greatest lies he has spun to date.  Not only is it unscientific, but it is also anti-scientific. In other words, Fauci’s words are not just unsupported by science, they run counter to the science we have available to us.

My long-suspected base virus, RaTG13, we know is already transmissible to humans, despite the NIH’s claim that no bat viruses that were worked on were transmissible to humans.  In 2012, three miners working in an abandoned mine in the Yunnan Province in China, mysteriously died from viral pneumonia.  After an investigation conducted by scientists from the Wuhan Institute of Virology, the virus was captured and returned to the lab.  While RaTG13, may have not been on the list of viruses that EcoHealth Alliance reported to the NIH, it is important to know that that report was delivered in August 2021, after RaTG13 had been identified as a potential genetic base virus of SARS-CoV-2.  We would have to believe that an organization with as checkered of history as has been proven to date, wouldn’t withhold information that would implicate them in the commission of the greatest crime the planet has ever seen.  Regardless, Fauci and NIH would still maintain that it would molecularly impossible for RaTG13 to be genetically manipulated to become SARS-CoV-2.  This is, yet again, is totally and completely counter to research performed in 2015 and funded by…. get this… the NIAID, the NIH, and USAID, who funneled their money through…. you guessed it… EcoHealth Alliance.

Dr. Ralph Baric of the University of North Carolina, often referred to as the “godfather of gain-of-function,” was researching coronaviruses, including bat coronaviruses.  Among the viruses, his team worked with was SHC014, a bat coronavirus.  Baric and his team manipulated a SARS viral backbone to present SHC014 surface proteins, essentially creating a new virus SHC014-MA15.  This new virus was found to be able to infect human epithelial airway cells, making it more virulent (more transmissible and deadly) than the original virus.  Even more alarming is that the genetics were provided by and some of the research for this experiment was conducted at… you guessed it… the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

Fauci’s statement that it is molecularly impossible for a virus like RaTG13 to be manipulated to become SARS-CoV-2, is, as is shown above, a complete and total fiction.  Not only is it possible to take viruses that cannot infect humans, and manipulate them to do so, RaTG13 is already known to infect humans.  Chinese researchers could have used RaTG13 (which shares 96.2% of its genomic code with SARS-CoV-2) as the backbone, to present surface proteins and other binding characteristics from another virus or viruses, along with other minor genetic modifications, to very realistically, create a virus like SARS-CoV-2.  It is exactly what they did with another virus in 2015, funded by the same parties, and conducted (in part) at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

It seems Fauci thinks he can continue to lie with impunity.  At some point, someone within our government is going to have to permanently sideline this clown, before another 30 million people get hurt.
