As the unhinged left continues to come unglued in the aftermath of Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey signing the state’s fetal heartbeat bill into law last week, some have taken extreme measures to express their displeasure.

Case in point: Actor Jim Carrey, who as Red State‘s Brandon Morse pointed out earlier took to the Twitter machine over the weekend to post a graphic piece of Kay Ivey “art” he created on the subject:

As of this writing, the tweet has over 20,000 retweets.

Sen. Ted Cruz weighed in on Carrey’s protest art earlier today, calling it “vicious” and “dehumanizing”:

As The Hill points out, this isn’t the first time Cruz and Carrey have been at odds over the actor’s political cartoons:

Last year, when Cruz was in a tight reelection bid against then-Rep. Beto O’Rourke (D-Texas), Carrey shared an illustration of the GOP lawmaker as a “bloodsucking” vampire.

Cruz responded by saying Hollywood liberals were “all in” for O’Rourke. “But (self-described socialist) Jim Carrey made a mistake here,” Cruz wrote on Twitter, “Vampires are dead, and everyone knows the dead vote Democrat…”

Other pro-life Twitter users correctly pointed out how Carrey’s drawing of Kay Ivey being aborted proved he understood the ghoulish nature of abortion and still supported it, while others noted his post should be considered incitement under Twitter’s (and the left’s) rules of engagement:

As of this writing, Carrey’s post is still up, and there is no indication from Twitter that they’ll take action.

Typical.
