Thursday, Red State‘s Brandon Morse wrote about a nasty, vicious attack Young Turks journalist Hasan Piker waged against Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX). Among other things, Piker raged -in a profanity-filled rant – that Crenshaw went to war “and like literally lose his eye because some mujahideen — a brave f***ing soldier — f***ed his eye hole with their d***?”

Crenshaw clapped back in a tweet, saying that Hasan “seems to confuse “Improvised Explosive Device” with some weird terrorist fantasy. Lol sorry for triggering you Hasan. You’re no Pete Davidson, stop trying so hard.”

Hasan also whined that Crenshaw was “crying” about the Pete Davidson SNL skit from last year and wallowing in “victimhood.”

Crenshaw – a guy who literally put his life on the line, who lost his eye in combat, and then came home to serve his country in a different way. Wallowing in “victimhood”? Oh, hell no.

Crenshaw again responded, and this time, he absolutely laid into him, noting that what he found more offensive were disgusting remarks made by Piker on the same Twitch stream about how America somehow deserved 9/11 — and that YouTube was giving Piker the platform to say these things.

Here’s what Piker said about 9/11. Crenshaw’s remarks follow:

“America deserved 9/11, dude, f– it. I’m saying it,” Mr. Piker said in the clip.

The remark spurred an uproar on Twitter, and Mr. Piker responded by tweeting a longer clip of his rant, apparently to provide more context, in which he argued that America funded the perpetrators who carried out 9/11.

“Like, we f–ing totally brought it on ourselves, dude, holy s–,” he said in the video. “Look at the way that this dips—t is running his f–ing mouth, justifying genocide right now. How is anything I’m saying controversial? We f–ing fund the people who did 9/11 still to this day.”

Crenshaw not only responded on Twitter:

… but also in a Daily Caller interview:

… and later in a Fox News interview with Laura Ingraham:

You know what? If I was a leftist, probably the last thing I’d want to do is to go after someone like Crenshaw. You’re just not going to win these types of arguments against him, and you end up coming off as a total loser in the process.

Then again, Piker was probably a loser before this whole controversy. Crenshaw was just kind enough to let the whole country know it, too.

Piker is the nephew of far left Young Turks program creator Cenk Uygur, who is also one of the founders of AOC’s Justice Democrats group.
