Clown Show: New York Post Illustrative Cover Perfectly Encapsulates Adam Schiff's 'Impeachment Circus' Charade

Today is the day Democrats will finally take their three ring impeachment inquiry circus public, parading star witnesses early on in hopes of convincing the American people that President Donald Trump should not have been elected in 2016 committed impeachable offenses in his July phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

House Intel Committee Chairman Adam Schiff has made it clear he will continue to lead the show trial proceedings with an iron fist. As Nick Arama noted last night, Shifty Schift has assumed the role of dictator by not only reportedly rejecting Republican witness requests but also by threatening an Ethics Committee investigation against any Republican who mentions the whistleblower during the hearings.

In a fiery rant last month, Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee ranking member Rep. Lee Zeldin went off on Schiff and Co’s selective leaking of information from witness testimonies to the press, as well as the overall secretive nature of the closed-door hearings. Zeldin called the whole process nothing more than a “fairy tale” and “clown show.”

It is that same sentiment the New York Post had in mind when it published their Wednesday paper with these caricatures on the front page:

Perfect.

The hearings start at 10 a.m. Eastern time.
