Though predictable, one of the most frustrating things about how Democrats have behaved since 2016 is their penchant for undermining election results simply because they don’t like the outcome. They of course cranked up the “illegitimate” rhetoric within moments of Donald Trump’s November 2016 victory over Hillary Clinton. They’ve kept it up ever since by way of perpetuating the myth of Trump/Russia collusion even after it was determined that there wasn’t any.

After their efforts to oust Trump on that front stalled, they attempted another one: trying to delegitimize the results of the as-yet-to-be-held 2020 elections by accusing President Trump of trying to “dig up dirt” on a potential November 2020 opponent (Joe Biden) during a July phone call he had with Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky.

But even though Trump was impeached by House Democrats on that issue, he was acquitted in the GOP-controlled Senate and is now actually in better shape politically now than when the impeachment inquiry was declared last September.

Naturally, this infuriates longtime Democratic operatives like Donna Brazile, who on Twitter Tuesday shared an Atlantic article written by former Obama senior speechwriter Sarada Peri, who tried to make the case that Trump is “going to cheat” in 2020:

Anyone familiar with Brazile’s documented 2016 antics on behalf of Hillary Clinton will understand that her leveling a “cheating” accusation against anyone is the very definition of a self-awareness fail. But just for those who aren’t familiar, here’s what she was caught doing in 2016 to help Clinton during the primaries:

Fresh WikiLeaks emails show that Brazile — previously accused of leaking to Team Clinton for a CNN town hall — also gave the Democratic nominee a heads-up before her Democratic primary face-off with Sanders.

Brazile, then vice chair of the DNC and a CNN contributor, emailed Clinton’s campaign on March 12, the night before the Flint, Michigan, debate.

“One of the questions directed to HRC tomorrow is from a woman with a rash,” Brazile wrote to Clinton’s campaign chairman, John Podesta, and communications director, Jennifer Palmieri.

[…]

Nonetheless, it’s the second example of Brazile helping Clinton behind the scenes. WikiLeaks earlier revealed a separate email in which Brazile told Team Clinton that the former secretary of state would get a question about the death penalty before a March 13 town hall on CNN.

Brazile was forced to resign from CNN shortly thereafter, and a few months later finally expressed regret for what she did.

Nevertheless, her actions in trying to unfairly assist Hillary Clinton over her competitors will follow her wherever she goes, especially when she has the audacity to level “cheating” charges at someone else. Check out the ratio:

Here were some of the responses:

Yeah, sitting this one out is exactly what Brazile should have done. Unfortunately for her, she didn’t.
