I have said many times before that when it comes to stories on the Wuhan coronavirus outbreak, Chris Cuomo should be forbidden not only from reporting on his brother Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s (D-NY) handling of the crisis in his state but also on the Republican governors who the media frequently compare and contrast Cuomo’s “leadership” to. It’s what an honest and objective news network would do.

Cuomo has shown time and time again that he cannot cover these stories objectively and fairly. There’s a clear conflict of interest that, if similarly displayed on Fox News, would cause CNN’s chief media correspondent Brian Stelter and other left-leaning media critics to erupt in outrage.

Unfortunately, CNN is neither honest nor objective, which is why they continue to allow Cuomo to “interview” his brother and do glowing “reports” on his management of the crisis while also taking swipes at Republican governors Gov. Cuomo has clashed with over the last few months.

Such was the case this morning when a bit of encouraging news broke about Florida’s daily case number counts. Here’s what was reported:

Here’s how the “Prime Time” host responded:

Cuomo’s attempted dunk on Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) isn’t the first time he’s run interference for his brother by focusing on another state’s handling of the Wuhan virus outbreak instead of his own. A couple of months ago, Cuomo hosted a disgruntled former Florida “data technician” who had been thoroughly discredited, falsely presenting her as a respected expert on Florida’s data reporting.

Cuomo’s complete lack of self-awareness did not sit well with people who were familiar with how his brother massaged Wuhan virus data in New York to try and make himself look better:

Another Twitter user also reminded Cuomo of his own coronavirus lies by flashing back to his fake basement emergence video:

This person was on the same page I am on how Cuomo should be banned by his network from reporting on this story and asking questions:

The answer to that one should be pretty obvious to anyone who has paid attention to Chris Cuomo’s – and CNN’s – “reporting” on the outbreak since it started: Not just no, but hell no.
