Bonchie reported earlier on how Joe Biden responded to a question from NPR reporter Lulu Garcia-Navarro during a Tuesday interview by giving a babbling and incoherent answer that involved saying in so many words that all black people think alike.

For those who missed it, here’s the transcript of what Biden said and video of his comments:

“And by the way, what you all know but most people don’t know – unlike the African-American community with notable exceptions, the Latino community is an incredibly diverse community, with incredibly different attitudes about different things. You to go Florida you find a very different attitude about immigration in certain places than you do when you’re in Arizona. So it’s a very different, very diverse community.”

The longer, in-context version (which you can watch here) did not make his cringe-worthy remarks sound any better.

During the same interview, Biden bizarrely asked black CBS News journalist Errol Barnett if he was a cocaine “junkie” after a question about Biden’s cognitive abilities.

Making matters worse for Biden this week, instead of backtracking on what he said about African-Americans and diversity – as he kinda sorta did after the “you ain’t black” controversy back in May – Biden doubled down on the comments during another roundtable discussion/interview this afternoon.

Watch:

The longer version, again, does not do Biden any favors:

This is just embarrassing as all get out, and we all know how the media and Democrats would have erupted had President Trump come even close to saying any of the racisty things Biden’s said this week alone about the black community. As it stands now, their reactions have been mostly muted because Must Protect the Precious.

At this point, I’ve got to agree with RedState editor at large Kira Davis, who says that maybe it’s time everyone admitted that Joe Biden doesn’t think too highly of black people:

If I’m reading the patterns, I can easily surmise that Biden thinks most Black men are foul, uneducated, and “wiseguys” (a word he uses a lot for people who annoy him). He thinks all Black people are the same and think the same and want to hear the same thing. He thinks Democrats have a right to the Black vote by virtue of not being Republicans. He thinks of Black constituents as 100% poverty-stricken and in need of Democrat charity. He is offended by the notion that any Black man would intellectually challenge him in public.

Assuming Biden actually does ignore the suggestions from prominent Democrats to skip out on the presidential debates, it will be interesting to see if any of the black moderators will ask him questions about these tendencies, especially in the context of him having a black vice presidential nominee.

As they say, stay tuned.
