The people will not be denied, and the numbers prove it.

Axios reported today that in spite of Facebook’s and Twitter’s attempts to censor the New York Post’s blockbuster story on Hunter Biden’s emails, the story was the most popular election story on their respective platforms last week.

The breakdown in the numbers is as follows:

-The Post’s story generated 2.59m interactions (likes, comments, shares) on Facebook and Twitter last week — more than double the next biggest story about Trump or Biden.

-5 of the 10 biggest stories were about the Hunter Biden story, the fallout, or how Facebook and Twitter reacted.

-It was the 6th-most engaged article this month, trailing pieces like Trump testing positive for COVID-19 and Eddie Van Halen’s death.

-83% of the interactions happened on Facebook, with the other 17% on Twitter.

Who would have guessed people being told they shouldn’t be sharing information that might be damaging to a candidate for the highest office in the land would have the galvanizing effect of making them want to read and share the story all the more?

Understandably, the New York Post crowed about the news on their website. The headline on their story reads “Post’s exposé on Hunter Biden soars online despite social media censorship.”

That said, the newspaper’s official Twitter account is still not able to post new stories and tweets to its readers:

Since the Post’s story went live, a number of things have happened that indicate that the emails found on the laptop are authentic. For starters, no one in the Biden campaign has denied any facet of the story. And on Sunday, Biden campaign surrogate Jenna Arnold admitted that “I don’t think anybody is saying they are inauthentic.”

Plus, DNI Ratcliffe confirmed Monday that the emails, which intelligence officials are reviewing, are not part of any alleged Russian disinformation campaign.

Couple all of that with the fact that Hunter Biden’s attorney contacted the repair shop to get the laptop back, the revelation of the repair shop’s receipt for Hunter Biden’s laptop, and the fact that Joe Biden has mysteriously put a lid on his campaign until after the Thursday presidential debate, and I’d say there shouldn’t be any doubt at this point as to the authenticity of the emails.

Where does the New York Post go to get their apology?
