WATCH: Pro-Israel Dem Congressman Shreds Ilhan Omar Over Revealing Moment During 'Ceasefire' Presser

As RedState reported, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), a member of the notorious House Hamas Caucus, had a meltdown Friday during a detached-from-reality "ceasefire" press conference she attended alongside fellow Squad members Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.) and Summer Lee (D-Pa.).

For those who missed it, Omar - who on Thursday tried to walk back a tweet she posted blaming Israel for the "bombing" of a Gaza hospital which likely was actually a misfired PIJ rocket that exploded in a parking lot - went nuts when a reporter pressed the three on why they didn't support Israel's right to defend themselves against Hamas' terrorist attacks:

"How many more killings is enough for you? Is it 1,000 more, 2,000 more, 3,000 more? How many more Palestinians would make you happy if they die? Will you be fine if all of the people of Gaza are gone? Would that make you happy? Would that be the thing that makes you proud? And maybe that's the question you should ask, Ritchie. Is he okay? How many more Palestinian lives is he comfortable with? Because I am not comfortable with any more."

Omar, who had previously avoided answering the question when it was asked in a Congressional hallway, angrily stormed off after she concluded her rant.

The "Ritchie" to whom she referred is Ritchie Torres, a Democrat Congressman from New York who once described himself as "the embodiment of a pro-Israel progressive" and who has not held back in condemning the Squad for their sugarcoating of Hamas' atrocities and their victim-blaming towards Israel.

Rep. Torres appeared on CNN Monday where he was asked about what Omar said about him. He did not hold back, pointing to her atrocious voting record against things like funding for Israel's Iron Dome, which Torres noted has saved countless civilian lives from Hamas' attacks (starts at around the 2:29 mark):

“I obviously resent those comments. You know, every casualty is a tragedy. Every war is a humanitarian crisis. But we have to keep in mind the causes of the war.  Israel did not start the war. The war was imposed upon Israel by the barbaric terrorism of Hamas, which butchered 1,400 Israelis, including babies.  You know, my colleague, Representative Omar has voted against Iron Dome, which is a missile defense system that protects Israeli civilians from relentless rockets.  Were not for Iron Dome interceptions, there would be far more dead Israelis, far more by orders of magnitude.  And so the policy positions that she has taken would've led to even more dead Israelis and more dead Palestinians.”

In addition to speaking out against the radical members of Congress who have continued to call on Israel to show restraint even after what Hamas has done to women, children, and entire families, Torres has also forcefully spoken out against the DSA - whose membership includes most Squad members - for "indoctrinating" young people with hate against Israel:

Though I don't typically agree with Torres on much of anything, he is right on the money here. If Ilhan Omar and her Squad colleagues truly supported keeping all innocent lives safe from harm, they absolutely would have supported defense systems like the Iron Dome, without which Israel would be sitting ducks against Hamas.

But, again as Torres also noted, the "ceasefire" proponents have themselves been indoctrinated against Israel (some of them, like Tlaib and Omar, since birth) and have passed that down to younger generations of Americans who now feel free to hold "protests" in which they display their solidarity with murderous Hamas paragliders who have raped, tortured, and murdered innocent civilians in the name of a sick and twisted ideology.

“Israel has hypnotized the world, may Allah awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel,” Omar wrote in 2012 in a since-deleted tweet. Omar told us who she really was then and she’s still telling us today.

Props to Torres for being unafraid to call her and her colleagues out, but if he thinks the naming and shaming is going to open any of their eyes and make them better people in the process, he is sadly mistaken.
