Summer seems to bring out the extra wackadoodlery among Democrats, and this one has been no exception.
Back in mid-July, we reported on Rhode Island state lawmaker Enrique Sanchez (D) having a meltdown in the aftermath of a bust that was made in the Ocean State, with ICE agents taking an illegal immigrant and allegedly "self-admitted" MS-13 gang member into custody in what turned out to be an intense series of events.
In response, Sanchez tweeted that "The Nazi Gestapo ICE thugs kidnapped another of our neighbor in Providence this morning." He went on to write that "The ICE thugs damaged a couple cars that belonged to residents as well. They think they are above the law." When ICE refuted his claims, Sanchez simply doubled down.

Two weeks later, Sanchez is at it again, but this time his rhetoric got even more incendiary, sounding suspiciously like a threat against immigration enforcement agents:
It will be soon the day that I confront these Nazi ICE thugs in person for terrorizing our communities. It will be a day of reckoning and no going back.

I hope the people of Providence and Rhode Island have our back. They will try to end our work and put down our struggle.
The Rhode Island state representative who recently called ICE "Nazi Gestapo thugs" after they arrested a MS-13 gang member w/ pending fentanyl trafficking charges now says he will "confront these Nazi ICE thugs in person" and it will be a "day of reckoning" w/ "no going back". https://t.co/PcEERg6nkz

Though Sanchez didn't reveal how he would "confront" the members of ICE, considering that attacks against ICE agents are up over 800 percent, it doesn't take much to put two and two together.
Needless to say, DHS has responded accordingly by letting Sanchez know he is approaching the "FO" stage of FAFO:
Cowards like this Rhode Island State Rep hide behind their keyboards and threaten the brave men and women of ICE.

If you lay a hand on ICE law enforcement we will arrest you and you will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. https://t.co/3LqIPmnFXr
Previously, he announced he was willing to get "prosecuted and arrested" if it meant stopping ICE operations in Rhode Island (language warning):
Rhode Island Rep Enrique Sanchez @EnriqueForRI is ready to get arrested for interfering w federal law.

He's "ready to go down."
We're ready too, Enrique! You got this!

The only arrest he's had so far, however, stemmed from an alleged drunk driving incident back in February:
When an officer asked Sanchez if he would take a field sobriety test, he asked if he could order an Uber if he refused. An officer told him he would not be able to order an Uber, and he refused to take a field sobriety test at the scene.
In an initial court appearance on the day of his arrest, Sanchez pleaded not guilty to driving while intoxicated, and has since pleaded not guilty to lesser civil charges of refusing a chemical test and failure to obey traffic control devices.
As I've said before, obviously Democrats aren't sending their finest to serve in government... or maybe they are, and this is it. Sad.
Editorβs Note: Democrat politicians and their radical supporters will do everything they can to interfere with and threaten ICE agents enforcing our immigration laws.
