BREAKING. Donald Trump's Campaign Says Bob Corker Is Wrong, He's Still In the Veepstakes

Just a few hours ago, Tennessee Senator Bob Corker issued a definitive statement in which he took himself out of consideration for Trump’s vice president:

“There are people far more suited for being a candidate for vice president, and I think I’m far more suited for other types of things,” Corker said in an extensive phone interview where he repeatedly praised Trump and said he is eager to serve as an informal adviser to the candidate.

Now, in a bizarre turn of events, we have this:

That’s right. The Trump campaign is disputing Bob Corker’s announcement that he has taken himself out of the running for vice president. Because everyone says they don’t want the job until it is offered to them.

You really can’t make this stuff up. Before this campaign is over the entire staff of The Onion is going to be on unemployment.
