A mere hour ago I posted on Politico’s Chief Political Correspondent Glenn Thrush being caught, for the third time, coordinating with the Clinton campaign on how he was going to cover them. He has not been alone. Take this from Associate Press reporter Eric Tucker to Clinton lawyer David Kendall:
Think about this for a moment:
If you wanted to steer us away and > say that we are misinformed, then I would gladly accept that as well.
This is not running a quote by someone to verify accuracy. It isn’t even presenting something negative you’re going to report and asking for comment. This is giving the lawyer of the person that is being reported on the right to veto what THE major wire service in the world is going to say. I can guarantee you that no Republican in the history of email has ever received this kind of an offer from AP or any other major media outlet.
