John Kelly: Memo Release Is Imminent

White House Chief of Staff John Kelly was interviewed on Fox News Radio…which will eventually be used as evidence of Russian kompromat on Kelly, I’m sure…and he talked briefly about the House Intelligence Committee memo that is under review by the White House. The memo, compiled by House Intelligence Committee staff, is purported to allege misuse of the Trump dossier in obtaining a FISA warrant on Carter Page among other things.

White House chief of staff John Kelly said Wednesday a controversial Republican memo alleging wrongdoing by FBI officials investigating Russia’s interference in the 2016 election would be released soon.

“It will be released here pretty quick, I think, and the whole world can see it,” Kelly said during an interview on Fox News Radio.

Kelly on Wednesday praised Trump’s commitment to transparency during the interview.

“This president, again, it’s so unique, Brian, that he wants everything out so the American people can make up their own minds and if there’s people to be held accountable, then so be it,” he said.

Couldn’t agree more. The fact that we have what is a secret court reviewing secret information to strip away Fourth Amendment protections is bad enough. That a half-assed memo paid for by a political campaign ever made its way into that process is a travesty. And, for reasons I don’t understand, we’re supposed to defend the people that were a part of this abomination because they were targeting people affiliated with Trump. As if, having tasted blood, this beast won’t kill again.
