In my personal life I first encountered it in its reverse form around age 10 or 11 when the Old Man brought home a pack of cigarettes, had me and my brother take a few puffs, and announced that if we liked it he’d buy them for us and let us smoke at home. I’ve never had urge to smoke.

During last week’s Democrat debate, Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke announced that he was 100% going to confiscated all semi-automatic rifles.

This is not going to be the killer slogan that O’Rourke had anticipated. Many of his colleagues are angry at him for giving away the game. Middle of the road gun owners now clearly see what the end game is and the will resist. Those of us who actively support gun rights are going to follow Kurt Schilichter’s advice: “Buy guns and ammo.”
