Just a short while ago President Trump announced that the White House will release the full and unredacted transcript of the conversation between President Trump and Ukraine President Zelensky tomorrow.

All along, President Trump has hinted that he may release the transcript. Yesterday morning, White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham said that move was being considered:

It’s true what the president said, when foreign leaders come together to speak, they need to be able to speak candidly. I do think that perhaps releasing this kind of a transcript could set a bad precedent. He is willing to do it, I think. There is a lot of other people, lawyers and such that may have a problem with it. We will see what happens.

This comes in the context of an ongoing range war with House Democrats over access to the document–Nancy Pelosi is meeting to discuss and impeachment inquiry based on this document today–and North Carolina Republican Senator Richard Burr dropping trou and grabbing his ankles for Mark Warner (why do we bother having committee chairmen who abrogate their authority to whatever Democrat that wants it?).

The fact that the transcript will be unredacted leads one to anticipate that it is probably going to be innocuous and completely open to whatever interpretation you wish to make of it. If that is the case, this has been a epic troll of the Democrats.
