President Trump Takes a Slap at Iranian Stooge Chris Murphy Over His Secret Meeting With a Terrorist State Leader

Yesterday, in an exclusive report Mollie Hemingway of The Federalist revealed that while at the Munich Security Conference that Connecticut Senator Chris Murphy had held a secret meeting with a leader of a state sponsor of terrorism who is currently under sanctions imposed by the US government. That terrorist douche would be none other than Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif. My colleague, Nick Arama, has all the details in Dem Sen. Chris Murphy Confesses to Secret Meeting With Iranian Foreign Minister As Well as Meeting with Ukrainian President.

Today, President Trump was asked about this meeting:

Let me be among the first to say that I think that the Logan Act is unconstitutional claptrap left over from the era of the Alien and Sedition Acts. Having said that, what is sauce for the goose is sauce for the f***ing gander. The Obama administration used the subterfuge of the Logan Act to target Trump’s designated National Security Adviser for discussing existing sanctions placed upon Russia at the direction of the President-Elect of the United States and while on the federal payroll as a member of that President-Elect’s transition team. At least Mike Flynn was in an official role and acting with authority. Murphy was not representing the US government in any way, shape, or form. He can’t even claim to be representing Congress as he’s a member of the Senate minority and there was no joint Senate-House delegation sent to meet this particular Iranian terrorist.

Beyond simply making life a little more interesting for Murphy, there is another reason that he should be getting a proctological exam by the FBI. He’s essentially an undeclared agent of Iran.

There’s a lot more in that thread that ties Murphy to a lot of other key terror sympathizers in the US government.

I’m not a huge fan of one political party using federal law enforcement to target the opposing party. But, in this case, I’d be willing to make an exception. It would be payback for the abuses of the Obama administration for its dealings with Mike Flynn and for Crossfire Hurricane in general. It would be greatly amusing to watch Murphy sweat and twitch to explain his political fealty to the mullahs. And, ultimately, it would serve a great national good by forcing the courts to declare the Logan Act null and void and forever removing that tool from the quiver of the Democrats.
