While many of us scramble to find the elusive solar eclipse glasses, singer Bonnie Tyler has her eclipse plans all set: she’ll be singing her 80s hit, “Total Eclipse of the Heart,” live from Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas. The best part is that she’ll be singing the song DURING the eclipse as part of a week-long “Total Eclipse” cruise.
Oasis of the Seas will be positioned at an “optimal spot” to see Monday’s entire eclipse. Tyler, who will be backed by Joe Jonas’ new group DNCE, notes that her song is four-and-a-half minutes, while the entire eclipse will be only two minutes and 20 seconds.
And, for those of us still looking for protective eye gear, let the creepy vision at the 3:27 mark of the video be a warning against looking directly at the sun.
