“Young Lady, It’s Cold Outside”
On the heels of her Senate colleague announcing a run for the Democratic nomination yesterday IT’S OFFICIAL: Faux Indian Announces Run For Big Chief, Executive Amy Klobuchar jumped into the fray in her home state of Minnesota.
Her announcement was done in Boom Island during a bit of a snowstorm.
The Senator’s staff must really love working for her.
The newly minted candidate launched with this…
I stand before you as the granddaughter of an iron ore miner, the daughter of a teacher and a newspaperman, the first woman elected to the United States Senate from the State of Minnesota, to announce my candidacy for President of the United States.
She also had this gem about climate change while forcing everyone to listen to her in a snowstorm…
“The people are on our side when it comes to climate change. Why? Because like you and I, they believe in science. That’s why in the first 100 days of my administration, I will reinstate the clean power rules and gas mileage standards and put forth sweeping legislation to invest in green jobs and infrastructure. And on day one, we will rejoin the international climate agreement.”
In a snowstorm.
Those stories about her being a bit rough on the staff might be true. My colleague Sister Toldjah covered this story earlier today right here Speculation Sunday: Is Queen Kamala Behind The Wave Of Hit Pieces On Amy Klobuchar?
The RNC was quick to come out with a comment on the newest candidate to unseat President Trump.
“It’s tough to find any base of support for Amy Klobuchar’s candidacy. She has virtually no grassroots backing and even her own staff is complaining that she’s ‘intolerably cruel.’” – RNC Spokesman Michael Ahrens
We now have another candidate running on the Democrats side that has agreed with the confusing “Green New Deal” that media darling/creation Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez put together in a Starbucks restaurant and wants universal everything with no idea to pay for anything.
This is only going to get more interesting as more candidates declare and the fight for relevancy and airtime proceeds as we get close to the end of this year. I can’t deny that I’m looking forward to all of it.
Every bit of it.
