Megyn Kelly Officially Joins the Facts Over Feelings Crowd Over Biological Women

This post contains a take by Megyn Kelly that is so fiery and accurate, that I feel duty-bound as a responsible commentator here at RedState to post our disclaimer twice. Once right here at the beginning and again at the end to make sure those with weak stomachs who believe feelings matter more than facts are forewarned properly.

You have now been properly warned.

Megyn Kelly as of late has been on fire with her commentary and it is a welcome addition in combatting some of the nonsense in the country.

I will admit that after she left Fox I really did not pay any attention to her misadventure at NBC and she dropped off my media radar. That is until she came to the defense of her good friend Janice Dean in her battle against disgraced former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo and his COVID-19 policies.

Those inhumane measures kept Dean and her family from seeing her husband’s Mom and Dad while in care facilities and they both eventually died. Megyn took up the cause as her own while Cuomo and his cronies attacked Janice Dean just as a weather girl and Kelly become a verbal battering ram to push back on the attacks on her former Fox colleague.

As a caregiver myself, I appreciated immensely what these ladies both fought for during the idiotic phase this country went through where people were fawning over the New York Governor’s every utterance of nonsense.

History, I believe, has shown Janice Dean was right and Megyn Kelly helped her lead that pushback.

Now, with the nonsensical notion that has gripped the nation over the past couple of years that biological males can be biological females, Megyn is on the side of common sense and speaking out once again.

My colleague Sister Toldjah covered this earlier last month.

‘I Am Done!’: Fired up Megyn Kelly Gives Must-Watch Call to Action on Trans Rights Debate

From that article…

Needless to say, she’s not playing the word games anymore. In further response to the Dylan Mulvaney situation, here’s what she said during a recent show:

“You don’t know the first thing about being a woman. You have no idea what the average woman has been through the course of her life, the challenges we have, the beauty of being a woman, the softness of being a woman. And you never will.

You’re never going to have it, doesn’t matter how many surgeries, doesn’t matter how many hormones, and I am done engaging in this fiction. I’m done! I have empathy, I have compassion, but I am not willing to abandon truth in the name of sparing feelings.”

I sometimes sit back and marvel that as a society we have allowed people to argue that words do NOT have actual meaning. That idea is being pushed by people who are, as far as I can tell, are anarchist wannabes that want us to no longer be able to communicate effectively and function as a somewhat polite society. If we can’t agree on basic definitions, we will never be able to agree on anything.

Words have had meaning for millennia. Just because some tenured professor who did too much acid in the 70s came up with a theory that debased logical norms, that is not nearly enough for me to change my mind.

Kelly now has dug in deeper on her defense of biological women and has had enough of the feelings-over-facts crowd. From a clip of her show on Twitter yesterday.

My point is look, I wore the hat down there because I’m sick of all the b******* I’m sick of denying women’s rights and the name of sparing people’s feelings.

Women are getting raped in prisons, all right. We have four teenage girls in ninth grade out in Wisconsin who had a guy whip out his penis in the women’s locker room, the girl’s locker room, it is embarrassing enough to have to swim when you’re in your teenage years as a woman a girl during school, The last thing you need is a penis coming at you in the showers after the pool. Ok? So I’m done,, I don’t care about the feelings anymore I care about women, I care about girls I care about their feelings, that’s who I’m fighting for.

The idea that anyone can just change their DNA because they feel a certain way might be one of the biggest scams this world has ever seen. Following that deception by demanding others go along with it is the part that needs to be put to a full stop and thankfully Megyn Kelly is adding her voice to the common sense brigade to fight this nonsense.

I’m damn glad she is here for this.
