Who is Rob Fisher?

Red Maryland has obtained documents, which show cyber security executive, Rob Fisher, who is challenging GOP favorite Andy Harris in the Republican primary for Maryland’s first district congressional seat, has stronger ties to the Commonwealth of Virginia than Maryland.

According to the Maryland State Board of Elections Fisher registered to vote in Maryland in 1996 but has not voted in a single election in Maryland since registering. However, Fisher has been registered to vote in Virginia since 2006

Fisher’s Federal Election Commission candidate filing statement lists his address as 310 Park Lane Federalsburg, MD. The Maryland State Department of Taxation and Assessments shows that property is owned by his parents Robert Allan Fisher Sr. and Diane M. Fisher. Virginia records show Fisher and his current wife have paid property taxes on a home in Chantilly, VA since 2004.

These documents beg several questions:

Why is Fisher running for Congress in Maryland?

Is Fisher a Maryland resident? If yes, then why is a self-admitted millionaire —he told Politico he’s worth $5 million — living with his parents?

Fisher claims “deep roots” in the first congressional district. Why hasn’t he voted in a single election in Maryland in the last 14 years?

More documents and questions to come…

If it quacks like a duck. If it looks like a duck. Wake up America. It’s a duck. PERIOD.

I am not vouching for Rob Fisher.
However as a registered republican in Maryland I can tell you that in the last election “honest” andy harris, lower case intentional, used every low down dirty political trick to eliminate his republican rivals. Most of them much better qualified than honest andy. Then andy lost the election anyway. In maryland politics this makes honest andy the republican front runner in this election? andy harris is not worthy to lick crap off the boots of Maryland voters let alone represent them in congress.
This is so typical of elections everywhere in this great country. Republican election committees hand pick garbage like andy harris, support them, put money behind them, get them elected. Then when the voters find out what garbage they are, they go else where to find representation. Wake up American voters. First ignor the trash your local republican election committees back. Do your home work, find the best conservative candidate running and vote for him/her. Flush hand picked garbage like andy harris down the toilet.

but not to your own facts.

We’re probably among the first to admit that Andy Harris has rough edges and sharp elbows.

Your portrayal of his 2008 campaign, however, is simply fantasy.

Harris lost for three reasons. First, Wayne Gilchrest, the nominally Republican incumbent, got his panties in a tight little wad when he lost the primary and endorsed the Dem. Second, EJ Pipkin thought he could win the primary by playing to the wounded ego of Gilchrest supporters. To call EJ Pipkin “more conservative” than Harris is lunacy. Pipkin casts conservative votes when the mood hits him but I would never classify him as a conservative.

Harris is going to win. Live with it. And he’s going to be the most conservative member of Maryland’s delegation and… my prediction… you’re going to see a lot of him nationally.
